Does not work properly

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

The Avenue R-45 Tail Light shuts off mid-ride creating a safety concern on the road. At first, I thought it was not fully charged, but after going for a ride with the unit fully charged and having it shut off on me multiple times I decided it was not worth the safety risk to continue to use it. As a result, the unit either has an extremely short battery life or mine just does not work as it is intended to.
