Slow leak
I recently took this on a trip to the desert with an area with soft sand. It never held the air the first time I used it. Unfortunately I can’t return it since it’s been a while since I purchased it. Keep looking!

Cold pad only 1.9 r value
After my first trip with a low temperature of 35 degrees I found this to be a cold sleeping pad. I researched the 4.4 r value because my other pad is a BA Rapide was much warmer even though it’s 4.8 r value. I found the real r value is for this klymit pad is 1.9 according to the new astm test. I’m disappointed the r value was so inflated.

Nice but Not For MidWinter Use
I used this on a camping trip with temperatures at 30F, 20F and 10F on three nights. It was fine at 30F, iffy but OK at 20F, and not at all sufficient at 10F. This is actually in line with the R-4 insulation rating so no surprises there. As a standalone, think of it as a nice 3 season pad that goes to 30F and maybe 20F in a pinch. In full winter conditions, 30F to 0F, I would pair with a closed-cell layer such as Thermarest Ridgerest, for about R6. Below 0F I think you should look for R8. Otherwise, very compact and comfortable. Having a double size pad cover the whole tent floor in winter, with no center gap, is very nice.

Eh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the time of purchase, this was the best R-rated (i.e., insulating) double sleeping pad for the price, and I still think this pad holds value for that reason. I'm just not a fan of Klymit's iconic V-shape tube design. It's not that comfortable compared to vertical tubes. Big Agnes makes the best sleeping pads, in my humble opinion.

Not great if you’re not the same size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice to sleep on alone but if you’re sharing it with someone and they are lighter, the heavier person will end up on the ground because the mat deflated slowly on their side while the lighter person will be snoozing away without issues. Rolls up small and very cool to be able to use the bag to inflate it.

Comfy, but not durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got about 2-3 uses out of it before it started leaking. Was never used on bare or rugged ground either. was super comfy and met our needs while it lasted
