    Maximum protection for deep days.

Sealing out waist-deep powder while locking in pleasant warmth, the Klattermusen Women's Brage Pant excels in demanding alpine conditions with its 3-layer construction with recycled nylon fabric. The Brage Pant represents the pinnacle of Klattermusen's sustainable outerwear collection, delivering premium waterproofing, rugged durability, and clean styling wrapped into an all-recycled nylon shell, completely free of harmful flourocarbons and PFOA.

It's designed with a higher waistline, which keeps out the deepest snow and nastiest alpine conditions. The optional suspenders provide a fine-tuned fit when extra security is paramount during fast-paced skiing and riding. Duracoat reinforcements combat excess wear and tear, ensuring years of dependable use at the ski resort and backcountry alike.

KEVLAR along the bottom cuffs prevent ripping and fraying, which is especially common when you're walking and hiking. Two-way ventilation along the outer thighs rapidly cools your body, which is especially useful for uphill ski touring and out-of-bounds hikes to fresh lines. Also, there's a variety of functional pockets for harmoniously storing all your skiing and riding essentials within close reach.

    Good for standard women figure

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 135lbs

Good pants; the material on the bottom is a little rough, goes to the back of my knees making it a little difficult to squat. Overall, I didn't find that it runs large. I'm 5-6/135 lbs with most weight on top (DD) and relatively large thighs (former athlete). Everything except Arcteryx fits me funny - if hips-fit, then legs are too small. If legs fit, then hip area looks like a parachute and similar situation with the top - I need M as a top and S (sometimes XS) as a bottom, so no dresses for me. I chose the pants because they are kind of like bib (go higher than waist, but not a bib). These pants do not fit awful, but I will not be using pockets because they are on your thighs and thighs are tight for me while hips area is a little big, even with substantial base layer. The good news - there are straps to hold the pants and you can also use the belt. The bad news - with the best the pants are not useful for backcountry (or poorly useful) since you want to unzip without taking the entire pants off. I kept the pants, but I do not see justification for $300+. And I also tried XS. I could zip it, but could not move. Again, the hips were fine, but legs were so tight, I could pop zipper with the first step. The pants are well-made. The material is a little rough with absolutely no insulation (vs. Arcteryx soft shell Santinel pants that are still my favorite). I did try FlyLow bib (good material, similar to Arcteryx Sentinet soft shell; could not fit my top in) and I have Strafe bib, which is good, but could use a little more space on top.

go to pants for the slopes!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large

I wear a small and I had a bit of wiggle room, which is fine so I can layer underneath. These pants get the job done! I can wear them for hours on the slopes and I'll be warm and dry. They are tough, and when I put these pants on, it's no-nonsense time.

I have a feeling that I'll be wearing these pants for a very, very long time. There's a certain feeling you get when you know you can trust your equipment, your gear, and these pants do exactly just that.

    Me Again

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I patiently waited for these to come in for the season and I can say that all of my below comments are still valid! The XS did fit, but I opted for the S for mobility's sake. I LOVE these bibs so very much.

    Too Big and Too Bad

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Meidum
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I loved these pants, but the Medium was far too large and the only size available when I purchased. I'm a 28 waist and after looking at the size chart, a small is where I'd fall, but based on how big the Mediums were, I think an XS may have been best.

That said, the Brage looked amazing, felt incredibly well constructed, and I wanted them to work so very bad.
