Muy loco.

Get out on the water and get as crazy as you want with the Kialoa Insanity Carbon Blend Adjustable Paddle. The strong adjustable shaft with slight flex has the look of carbon and the affordability and impact resistance of fiberglass, while the Carbon Fibrlite blade is made with polymers consisting of recycled materials and carbon fiber that's super light and extra tough. Fine-tune your fit for the varying conditions of the water with the LeverLock adjustable system that allows for 16in of adjustability. A comfortable palm grip both offers a cushy handle and also conceals the LeverLock mechanism for adjusting paddle length.

Good paddle

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this paddle for a few hundred miles, mostly on lakes. I bought it for the carbon blend shaft and the durable blade material, and also blade size of 91 sq/in. It has a moderate catch and low flex shaft. It paddles easily, and is responsive under power. I've found that I have to be more precise with the catch, otherwise the paddle tends to drift. I think this is because the power face is so flat. Great release from the water. Good bracing. For my paddling style, the T- handle feels less comfortable than my other paddles, which have more of a slope. Lever lock adjustment is bomber. Finish is nice and high quality- which it should be for the price tag. It stands up to abuse well too, expecting to get many more years of service. I'm looking forward to using it on some easier river expeditions.
