Heavy bag

Bought this for car camping/backpacking trips - unfortunately the bag weighs in at 4 lbs, 5 oz. Stated weight was 3 lbs. Super disappointed. Other than that the bag seems great, but I'd look for other options if weight is an issue.

No pocket

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Product description is different than reality - there is no media pocket in this model. Didn't really try the product yet, so not sure what reality would be for the other promises of this product...

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Super disappointed in backcountry and kelty with this product. First of all, the claimed weight is wrong. On this website the claimed weight is 3 lbs 3 oz for the long version. The actual weight is 4 lbs 26 oz. I was hoping to use this for light weight backpacking but that's not going to happen. Also, the compression bag broke on first use. Now I have to order a new compression bag. Great. Furthermore, I have wide shoulders and find it impossible to close the bag and not feel trapped and confined. And when I do manage to do so, the zipper is very hard to slide down to open the bag. Not recommended.

Wouldn't that be 4.26 pounds, meaning 4 pounds, 4 ounces?

There's only 16 ounces in a pound. Your scale says 4 lbs and 4 oz. The listed weight is 4 lbs 2 oz and that doesn't include the sack that your picture does. I'm not sure where the problem is.

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Haven’t taken it out yet but it seems like a pretty good quality bag with some good features. In the specs on here it says there’s a media pocket and this bag doesn’t have one which is annoying but not a deal breaker. Will update if I have issues.

How can you review a product you haven't used yet?

Very good sleeping bag

I've used it several times

I'm very happy with this sleeping bag. I'm 5'4" and there was plenty of extra length. I tend to run cold, so personally I wouldn't use it alone if the low temp was 20 overnight. I have used it down to low 40's and was comfortable.

Kelty Tuck 20 Overview

Here's a great rundown on the completely re-designed for 2018, Tuck 20 sleeping bag.

Does this bag allow for you to zip out your feet at the bottom without undoing the whole zipper?

Hi Morgan, Yes, it does. The additional pull-zipper on the bottom can serve as a 'starting point' for the zipper.
