    Get low.

Ideal for outdoor concerts venues, the Kelty Lowdown Chair allows you to kick back and relax without limiting the view of the folks sitting behind you. It also makes it easy to get close to the fire when you're kicking back after a hard day mountain biking or climbing, and it has adjustable armrests with an integrated cup holder to keep a cold beverage within arm's reach.

    Cool chair

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I own the entire Kelty camp chair line. This chair is comfortable and strong. The roll up carry feature is much easier to use than a tube sleeve. I use the roll tote to haul firewood and as a mat in front of my tent for boots. Adjustable arms is a nice touch.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This seems great for outdoor concerts as the description says. It sits about 6" lower than normal camp chairs. As for camping... the Roll-Tote carrying system is convenient, seat is padded and very comfortable, and I actually like being lower to the ground in certain situations; you can really stretch your legs out. The only negative... If your fellow campers are in normal sized chairs it feels a little like sitting at the kids table again.

    Best carry system around

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

You know those chairs that give you a sleeve as a carrier? They suck. I hate trying to fidget with those sleeves and then all the inevitable dirt and sand that gets trapped in them and you have to flip the bag inside out to clean it out. Ugh, the worst.

Instead these have a roll up carry system that is WAY easier to use. You lay the chairs on a flat mat with a couple clips on them and roll it up and clip it shut. Much easier and much cleaner.

They're comfortable chairs to boot. Nice cup holders. Just great all around. For a 5'10" guy these sit reasonably high up. Had the pleasure of watching the sun set on a beach in Costa Rica with one of these and it was great. Definitely recommend the chair.

    Solid Chair

Really comfortable chair, but just a little too low for me as I am a little taller, however it works perfect for my wife. She loves it and fits comfortably in it. Nice big cup holder is a plus!

    the comfiest

pretty sure the Kelty Lowdown is the best camp chair around. Not sure exactly what makes sitting a foot off the ground so great - but you'll never want to go back to a regular-sized camp chair after experiencing this one. I own an older version of this chair as well, and the redesigned carrying tote is an awesome touch!
