Home on the trail.
From weekend escapes in the backcountry to week-long hikes through varied terrain, the Kelty Gunnison 3 Tent w/ Footprint gives you a space to sleep in comfort while staying prepared for whatever nature throws at you. Already renowned for its durability and wallet-friendly price, Kelty upgraded the Gunnison to offer even more living space and bang for your buck. This lightweight tent stows away small to play nice with your pack, and it's packed with features that make it much more than a simple lean-to.
Two hubbed poles with color-coded clips and fly attachments make it a breeze to set up after a long day of trekking. No-see-um mesh maintains breathability and lets you see the stars when you choose to leave the fly off during clear nights. When you're not in a rush in the morning, the vestibule covering can be propped up with trekking poles to create an awning, so you can enjoy the view of your surroundings from the comfort of your sleeping bag. Internal pockets help you stay organized so you can get back on the trail more quickly, and the roll-top cube carry bag doubles as a hanging food bag so wild critters don't get to it.

Good for the Price
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is a pretty solid tent! It has it's pros and cons but it is good for what I need it for. Even though it is a 3 person it is definitely perfect for 2 people and stuff, like all tents are!
Here are my thoughts on it:
Pros - It packs up small, is lightweight and is so easy to pack! It is one of the easiest tents to set up and I can do it alone in under 5 minutes. I love that it has a footprint with it. There is a loop on the top of the inside to hang a light from, and pockets for your stuff.
Cons - I am not a huge fan of mesh; sand can get in when you camp in the desert and it takes away from warmth. This tent has quite a bit, but not as much as others. However, it will be really nice for camping when it is hot, and it makes the tent lighter. That is really the only con I have!
It is a well made tent, and will be perfect for our weekend car camping trips. I recommend if you want a quality tent for a reasonable price.
