Cosmic 20 Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Down
After a day of exploring remote slot canyons and traversing vast expanses, hunker down under the stars inside your Kelty Women's Cosmic 20 Degree Down Sleeping Bag. Thanks to the bag's box-baffle construction, water-resistant 600-fill DriDown insulation, draft collar, and form-fitting hood, you'll get a cozy night's rest next time you're sleeping away from home. During warmer months you can open up the dual-slider zipper to get some airflow to cool things down, and attach your bag to your pad via sleeping pad loops that keep everything positioned right where you need it. An included stuff sack lets this beauty compress to make packing your backpack easier, too, because a sleeping bag isn't much good if you can't fit it into your pack.

I LOVED this sleeping bag while on the John Muir Trail--I did tons of research for a great bag that would be a good investment by lasting me years and also keep me warm in the cold Sierra Nevada nights--and this bag seemed great all around. I was terribly afraid of being cold and unable to sleep at night, but this bag did exactly as promised and I slept like a baby! It was comfortable, lightweight in my pack, and the perfect addition to my sleep gear. After I got off the trail, I had another backpacking trip planned with friends, but decided to wash the bag beforehand. I took it to a laundromat, followed all of the washing instructions to a T (I even ordered special, gentle down detergent), and more or less cried my eyes out when I shortly noticed feathers flying everywhere in the washing machine. Backcountry's return policy of 30 days had of course long expired, so I am now left with a pathetic $190 sleeping bag carcass. The bag ripped in two places, each time along seams. I really was very impressed with this bag all the way up until this point, but this is a fatal flaw.

I love this sleeping bag! I've been using it with a sleeping pad and liner in a hammock and have stayed very warm.

The sleeping bag is perfect for Utah summers in the mountains. We’ve taken it to the Uinta and the Wasatch. It is super comfortable, roomy, light weight packs down small.

Kelty Cosmic Down Women's Review
An amazing update to this Best-Selling bag. It's lighter, softer, and more compressible than ever. All for a full down bag that is STILL well under $200.

This bag is 2X the cost as the "Kelty Cosmic 20 Sleeping Bag Synthetic: 20F Down - Women's" When I read the tech details I can not tell why this one is more expensive. They both say that they have "600 fill power dry down" same weight and temp rating etc. Please Explain.
