Good for summer

I've used it several times

I find it very annoying how inconsistently sleeping bag temperature ratings are advertised. I tried to be as thorough as possible, looking this bag up on multiple sites to get a good idea of the comfort rating, it said 40 degrees across the board. Then it arrives and the tag says 40 degrees for MEN, 50 degrees for women. I probably should have known...but it also probably should have been advertised. Anyway, I have now used this on multiple backpacking trips over the summer where it tends to get down to 55-60 degrees at night and I have been chilly but it was okay. Then I got a bag liner and it was a perfect temperature. It is at least a lightweight bag so I can definitely recommend it for summer hiking but I recommend a liner, more so for women

Kelty Cosmic Down Series Overview

An amazing update to this Best-Selling bag. It's lighter, softer, and more compressible than ever. All for a full down bag that is STILL well under $200.
