So, I have been looking for an all leather everyday boot to replace my heavily worn Bogs. I considered many options including Timberland, Keen, Vasque, LL Bean, Dr Maartens, Danner and others. My price range was <$150. The boots had to look good enough for casual work wear, going out wear, and work on the farm, be waterproof and LAST. For a $150 boot I expect a minimum of 2 years of hard use with minimal noticeable wear. I decided on the Rocker II. First the cons: (1) Plan on 2-4 days of break-in with the first day or so, being uncomfortable to painful. (2) I had to order down a 1/2 size. Almost all my shoes and boots are typically a size 8 and the first pair I ordered was an 8, but they were too big new and I knew the leather would soften and stretch some. So, the 7 1/2 turned out to be a good albeit late decision (after I returned the 8s. Pros: (1) After 2 weeks of daily wear, the Rocker II is really starting to feel good on my feet. (2) They look great. We'll see how they do in once the fall/winter rains start.

For the discounted price these boots are great value. Really nice leather and waterproof. They are lightweight and have a terrific heavy grip on the sole. They feel a bit stiff at first but wear in quickly.

Gave these as a gift to our son. He has worn out two previous pairs of Chelsea boots from Keen through the years. Loved those, but the Rocker provides even better support for being on his feet all day long in demanding physical roles. A great investment for his health, but also look great on him!

Nice, runs large though
Nice boot, stylish, however I found that these were a size too big. Usually wear a 13 but needed a 12

I have three other pairs of Keens and this is the widest fit of all.. My heel moved around enough blisters were going to be a given

Hey Dan, it is interesting to see others reaction to this boot. For myself I had to order a half size up. Plus the boots felt great first time stepping into them. I have owned the first gen keen rockers so I had an idea of what these were going to feel like. The one issue I have had with the last pair was the toe strap which I bought used at an REI garage sale. After 3-4 of use in all conditions and activities (rain, snow -- walking , hiking, working out) it started to come loose. I just recently purchased the new rocker 2 model and they have the same toe strap. I have only had mine for about a month and a half. I hope they improved on the toe strap. Plus my favorite part is the wide toe box which helps give breathing room.
