"Women specific" = tiny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so disappointed in Keen. I've always turned to them first because I have wider feet. These are the second pair I am returning due to being too small. I have been buying an 8.5 from Keen for years now and they have fit perfectly. However, now that they are making "women specific" shoes they apparently think that means all women have dainty cinderella feet. They have taken away the very thing that differentiated Keen from other brands, a nice wide toe box. These were so narrow and my toe was right against the end of the shoe, a problem I've never had with Keens I've bought in the past in this same size.

Keens Rock!

I’ve had a pair of this same style shoe for over 6 years. I live in ND and my “old” Keens are my everyday Winter shoe. I ordered the same size on my recent order and found them to be a bit more “roomy”. I have since ordered a half-size smaller to see if they fit better. Either way, I’ll keep a pair. They last forever!

Too stiff!

Rubbed the back of my ankle in a very bad way. I have a couple of Keen hiking boots which I have been very happy with. But these shoes are so stiff and along with rubbing my ankle raw, the toe box seems narrow-which Keen has not been known for. I wish I wouldn’t have bought at a local sporting goods store and purchased online to be able to return!

May be a little loose

May be a little loose in the heel not otherwise seems good. I walked around (inside) to get a feel for it but subsequently fell and injured ankle and am wearing boot. Need to keep shoes longer so I can assess fit, etc when I can wear regular shoes again!

Survived Mt Liumuiga and three inches of snow at home

I bought these specifically to take on a trip where I would be hiking Mt Liumuiga in St Kitts. It is a muddy, rocky, steep trail that many people say is one of the hardest and dirtiest hikes they have ever done. My new Keens kept my feet perfectly dry and I did not slip even after getting covered in mud. When I flew home I had to dig my car out from three inches of snow, and even with chunks of ice and powder falling on my feet they weren't wet. This was my first Keen purchase and I was extremely impressed.

No Shoe Like a Keen

I bought this type of shoe 3 years ago and just recently purchased another pair. Great walking shoe in the winter in New England when there is just a couple of inches of snow. Great tread and like most other Keen footwear (I own hiking boots, slippers and sandals) Great arch support. They are very comfortable. No breaking in necessary.

I’m glad I ordered the

I’m glad I ordered the half size larger. They fit okay but because I wear arch supports they seem wide at the top. I especially like the laces. With their texture they don’t slip or come untied.

Great overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good fit although I initially bought my normal size which was a bit small so the shoe runs a bit small I would say. Excellent comfort, great grip on ground/non-slip! Wonderfully waterproof!

Great supportive shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend buying a half size larger in these. They are very comfortable and love the sole and fit!
