Don’t waste your $
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this shoe size 7 for my granddaughter. The shoe was extremely large; too big for even my 9.5 sized foot ! The footbed was also not well shaped like usual Keen shoes. You guys got this one wrong!

Bummed out long time Targee wearer
My son has worn the Targees almost since he could walk (he is 10 now), but this pair ripped the first week we had them. While Keen is exchanging them, he will be out a pair of shoes for two weeks.

Great All Weather Shoes!
These are the perfect all weather shoes. I homeschool and teach outdoor education classes. These are great every day shows for the kiddos, whether we are playing with sidewalk chalk or hiking the hills!

Bungee cord lace problem
My son (age 8) wore this shoe for about six weeks. In that time, we had to fix the cord four times. The cord comes right off the clasp when the child pulls to tighten it. It is simply bad design; the cord wears off prematurely or the clasp/fastener cannot handle the stretch of the bungee cord. I do not recommend this shoe for this reason.

Quality at an Affordable Price
These are the second pair of shoes we purchased for our twins. The girls love the look and we love the fit and durability. Plus they don't squeeze their toes in the toe box. They out grew their first pair before they were wore out and expect that will happen with these.

Did not last,disappointed
We were excited to see these kidd shoes as we have so many other keen products. These shoes are very different, they wore out extremely fast,little no no foot support.the sole started to separate. I could go on. The single number one thing that keeps me going back to keen for sandals,shoes,hikers and work boots is their fantastc warranty .I hope this is a one off problem

Not well made, brand quality has declined
These shoes started to fall apart after the first week of school during normal activities. Disappointing from this brand I used to hold in high regard.

Perfect for my big kid
My son is on the cusp of youth and adult sizes. He has outgrown most youth sizes (including Keens), but this style in a size 7 fits him perfectly. This is not his first pair of Keen hiker shoes, and we keep going back to them because they fit well, are comfortable, and can handle daily use, on the trails or at school.

Perfect so far
These are a lighter & more flexible shoe than the regular Targhee. They're exactly actly what we needed. We will keep the waterproof for wet weather, but these are a very adequate "in-between" shoe: not water sandals & not waterproof boots.
