Why We Like The Targhee III Waterproof Leather Wide Hiking Shoe
From sloppy days on muddy trails to long and sunny ridgeline walks, the Keen Targhee III Waterproof Leather Hiking Shoe is there with the weather protection, stability, and performance needed in an everyday hiking shoe. A Keen.Dry membrane keeps toes dry when sunny day hikes turn into rain forest expeditions, and an all-terrain outsole with 4mm lugs provides traction on slippery trails and steep surfaces alike. For underfoot comfort and support, the Targhee has an anatomically-designed footbed, a cushioned EVA midsole, and a built-in shank keeping you going when long mileage threatens to take its toll on weary feet. The leather mud shield keeps mud away from areas it might sneak in, a rubber toe bumper protects against unexpected stubs, and Cleansport NXT odor control technology fights the funk.

A little narrow for orthotics.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wide flat feet that I made worse by wearing minimalist shoes. The Targhee IIIs fit reasonably well with the orthotics I have to wear now and are getting more comfortable as they break in.

Comfortable
My husband opened the package 2 weeks ago for his birthday. He has not taken the shoes off except to sleep at night. He absolutely loves them! He has a pair of Keen hiking boots so I thought I would try the lower shoe. Can't go wrong with Keen. Super comfortable.

Sole glue is not good
These are complete garbage. They are environmentally friendly and end user worthless. Soles feel apart literally within 4 days of ownership. Stay using materials that keep the soles together. Used to live KEEN. Will NOT buy another pair.

Hiking shoes
These are comfortable shoes; and with tough soles for rough terrain.

Size Matters: A Crucial Tip for Ordering Shoes
In the world of online shopping, finding the perfect fit can sometimes be a gamble, especially when it comes to shoes that have a reputation for running small. However, I recently learned a valuable lesson that I feel compelled to share: always order one size up for shoes that run small.
