Targhee II Mid Wide Hiking Boot
The Men's Wide Targhee II Mid Hiking Boot is Keen's ultimate day hiker for tough trails and rainy days. A Keen.Dry membrane gives the Targhee II reliable waterproof breathable protection, and the nubuck leather upper stays durable through bushwhacks and rocks. Four layers of cushy EVA ready you for the long haul, and you can remove two of the layers for convenience. Keen added an ESS shank for torsion stability, a contoured heel lock for adjustable ankle support, and non-marking rubber at the sole with multi-directional lugs for grippy traction.

The width is perfect
As a woman with wide feet, these mens keens are the only hiking boots I can wear

My wife made me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife has a pair of the woman’s boot like this and liked them so much that she insisted I try them. I am so so glad she did. These are the best support boots I’ve had in a long, long time.

No complaints
Comfortable Footwear. Never disappointed. Only con is that I have had to warranty out a few pairs that started to peel or fray but Keen always covered the flawed ones I got. Awesome service.

Great walking boot!
Light weight, good traction in the snow, warm and dry! Glad I made the purchase, I have 4 different Keen boots, never wear same pair 2 days in a row!

Insole
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the same insole as the shoes not even close to the comfort level of the shoes

My 3rd pair of these in size 12wide. They'll, of course, need a little breaking in to conform to my feet and, in due course, I know I'll have to start re-gluing separating soles but I can live with that for the best out-of-the-box comfort I have found in a hiking boot.

Lightweight and comfortable
I bought a pair of Keen hikers a number of years ago and they were lightweight and very comfortable right out of the box and lasted for years. Because of that I chose Keen Targhee II boots a bit over a year ago and they didn't disappoint. However, about a year later, I began noticing the soles coming loose. I tried to repair them myself using contact cement but that didn't work. I contacted Keen for advice and was informed they had a 1-year warranty and they approved replacing my boots. I had the new ones within just a few days. Service was great and I look forward to many years with these new boots.

Perfect fit out of the box.
As always, Targhee line doesn't fail! I've been wearing this model for many years now and always come back to them. I put a lot of wear and tear on my footwear and use these boots 50-60% of the year every day for work in some very demanding environments. I require the wide for one foot that's a little tight otherwise and the lacing allows me to snug up both feet just right. I highly recommend these for quality and comfortability.

Great Shoe for Outdoors and Dog Walking
Keen always surprises me. I have extra wide feet and Keen provides the space needed for my foot. Up hills or down this shoe is very comfortable. The sole is perfect for outdoor hiking and hunting in uneven terrain. The internal cushioning is limited but space is available for aftermarket insoles. Compared to Merrells of comparable model, the Targhee II is lighter and a more durable shoe. I give it four stars because of the lack of cushioned insole but it may be a blessing because it allows for combustibility for the individual. Given time this may be a five star shoe.

A pretty nice hiking boot...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Waterproof excellent, Sturdy and Nice support for my feet so they don't get achy and sore...Kind of heavy for my feet and ankles...More shoe string holes...I hate wrapping them around a boot hook...More holes allows the boot shoestrings to stay tight and come loose and undone....
