Targhee Exp Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Since the latter is pretty much impossible, you slip into the Keen Men's Targhee Exp Waterproof Shoe and hit the trails regardless of the conditions. Its Keen.Dry membrane offers steadfast protection from raindrops and muddy trails alike. Keen says the shoe's sole assures all-terrain versatility to help keep you on your feet whether you're stepping on slippery stones, muddy trails, or steep scree fields.

I bought these two days before I went to hike Katahdin and the presidential range for a week trip. The shoes were very comfortable and had a lot of grip on the slippery terrain. The total of the the two hikes was around 30miles. The last 5miles of the presidential range I was starting to be able to feel the sharp rocks in the ball of my foot because of the construction of the sole with the foam ridges. After the hikes I noticed parts of the sole were coming loose along the arch and the sides of the toe. I've had these shoes for a month now and the sole has only gotten worse. They are waterproof and do keep your feet dry but durability has been an issue for me. If you are looking for an everyday walking shoe these would work great but its not work the money if you are actually going to hike.
