Good for summer sailing
My son has been wearing these for sailing dinghy’s this summer. They have been great for that and also running around when on land. He’s finding them very comfortable.

Great sandal for fly fishing
Overall this was a fantastic sandal - used for the first time on 2-day backpacking/fly fishing trip. Sandal did great with ejecting fine sediment and pebbles unless they got stuck up at the front underneath the toes. I did have blisters start to show up on the second day right below the outside ankle bone, but I think they will break in and this won’t be an issue forever. One note about the grip on wet rocks - in my experience there is no rubber outsole that exists that will be truly grippy compared to felt bottoms. These sandals do an ok job at gripping wet rocks but you definitely can’t trust them fully. Fantastic grip on dry rocks and other surfaces. The protective toe does help tremendously compared to chacos when you do slip into rocks in the stream bed and bump the front of the sandal. Ultimately these are a great option and lightweight and comfortable (aside from blisters which will hopefully resolve over time), but they are not the grippiest option out there for wet wading in streams. Would love to see Keen develop a rubber/felt sandal just like this one targeted for fly fishing. Korkers is the only other brand making felt bottom sandals but I think Keen could do it better. Also - I would recommend buying a half size bigger.

Took some alterations, but now I love my SOLR sandals
At first, I got blisters on the right side of my right ankle bone. The strap was about an eighth of an inch too high for my foot. I took some cloth tape and pulled the top of the strap down a bit and then they were ok, and now I am comfortably wearing the sandals on long walks every day.

Excellent water shoe!
I just spent 3 weeks in the Bahamas with this sandal. It performed exceptionally well. I spent time at Atlantis water park, went on 4 fishing charter, scrambled on very jagged limestone reef, walked miles around Nassau, etc The sole is very sticky, even when wet. The sole is also very tough. I hiked on some very nasty, sharp, pointy, jagged limestone reef with no issues. I was very impressed with how well these performed.

Order a 1/2 size smaller than normal
Extremely comfortable, short break in time. When I bought these they fit almost snug, but after a couple months I started to notice my shoe was getting wider to the point where I could shift my foot around too much. The footbed has sunk. So after a year of still trying to wear these out they still have the same durability they had since new. I can take several mile hikes in these and they are still comfortable. So my complaints. They do not grip well in creek, river rock beds. I have to wash them constantly, like every other time I wear them because they burn my feet? I don’t know how to explain it but I’m sure it’s from sweating. Buuuuut as a long time sandal wearer, I’ve never experienced this sensation. So I think they could be lighter. They are sandals after all. We wear sandals because we want to wear next to nothing. For this price I would expect a lighter sandal. Actually ALL KEENS could be lighter. A lighter less aggressive opened toe version of this sandal would be my dream sandal. I will be buying another pair unless I find my sole mate first

A little disappointed
Comfortable once you get them on, but getting them on is difficult. The back strap does not give much.
