    A summer to fall favorite.

Unless you're shouldering a heavy pack or tackling seriously rugged terrain, you probably don't need a big, bulky boot for your everyday treks. The Keen Women's Oakridge Hiking Shoe is a perfect go-to for light-and-fast summer ascents and mellow hikes enjoying the fall foliage. Made with a durable leather and mesh upper, these boots combine the durability you need for committing trails with all the breathability you crave on a hot day. A stability shank provides additional support when you're scrambling over scree, and the sole of the shoe assists with stability thanks to 4mm lugs with multi-directional layering that will hold tight on greasy trails and slippery sandstone.

    Great shoe

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have flat feet and need a roomier shoe to accommodate, keens fit the bill. I looked for a good sturdy trail running shoe and couldn’t find one that fit my feet well. I decided to try out these keen hiking shoes and love them for trail running and hiking alike. They are comfy straight out of the box. This is my second pair. Run true to size.

    Comfortable from the start!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I usually buy trail runners but decided I needed a hiking shoe with more support after a couple of wipe outs on Rocky terrain. I put them on to test them, wore them all day 12 plus hrs and my feet felt great! This is a great shoe. I nearly gave it a 4 because of one factor, they are homely, I almost returned them because they are kind of ugly. Comfort and dependability won! 🤣

    Sister loves them.

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave these to my sister when we, (a group of 5 all using the Keen shoe!), on a hike to Grand Stair Case Escalante. It served our purpose very well in all kinds of terrains while doing casual walk and climbing rocks!. Worth every penny.

great for light hiking and yard work

My wife is on her third pair of these in about 10 years, uses them mostly for gardening and working in the orchard. She loves the fit, finish, and durability.

    Great gym/hiker

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

At first my shins were killing me after wearing these for 8+ hours, but once my legs got use to the extra weight I started to really love these shoes. The rigidity gives my ankles the support they need during work and the flexibility makes them great for the gym.

A little different than my other Keens

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 9
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 118lbs

I have been wearing Keens for years, and keep an active stable of several brands (Keen, Teva, Vasque, Merrell), as I wear them daily at work. This is the first Keen "shoe" I have tried, usually wearing the mid- height boot.
I thought this shoe ran slightly small. I have a full size difference between my two feet, which can make fitting pretty dicey. Also have a very narrow foot, and was surprised when I didn't have to pull the laces as tight as they go in order to facilitate a good fit.
Also, probably the only pair of Keens I've ever owner that needed a "break-in" period. The shoe is fairly stiff, and it took me awhile to get comfortable in it, almost to the point of getting blisters. All this aside, once I got comfortable in the shoe, I found it excellent. Good support all day. While I will always prefer a mid-to full height boot for serious hiking, this is a good, stout shoe for lighter hiking, walking, or someone who just spends their day on their feet.

    Can't Go Wrong With Keen!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

This is my wive's second pair of Keen hiking boots and I am sure they won't be her last. She was upset when she had to retire her first pair and wears them for almost any occasion. The solid base makes all terrain seem soft and comfortable.
