I'm enjoying my first pair of Keen's this winter — the Hoodoo III Chelsea Waterproof Boot. Despite reading a few unfavorable reveiws because of a change in the brand's fit (smaller toe box) I'm quite pleased with these after 2 weeks of daily walks in snowy and rainy weather. I wear a size 10/10.5 and have a very wide foot with high arches. I like a roomy fit so I can wear thick socks when needed. I searched the internet looking for a simple boot design that looked sturdy enough to handle frequent wear and last a couple of winters. I loved the look of Keen's Black Chelsea Boot so I took a chance (despite the reveiws) and ordered the size 11 for a bit of extra room. I waited almost 2 weeks but the delivery didn't arrive so I called customer service and they very kindly offered to send out another pair and asked me to return the original order (at no charge), if it ever showed up. There was only one problem — They had sold out of the size 11 and had only size 10 available. I worried it might be too snug with thick socks but agreed to the exhange. In just 2 days the new order arrived. The size 10 was a tiny bit snug, but not uncomfortable. I wore them around the house for an hour and they were soft enough to stretch a little so I took a walk outside. By the time I got home they felt broken in and very comfortable, thankfullly. A week or so later the original order showed up (must have been stuck in a USPS mail room somewhere). I went online to print out the free return shipping label Keen's customer service sent to me in case the "lost" pair showed up. Easy peasy. Now I have possibly the best boots I've ever owned and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks for making a great boot and for your excellent (and kind) customrer service.

Keen has gone downhill

Tie box too small.
