    Make winter shiver.

Turn the tables on Old Man Winter with the KEEN Women's Durand Polar Boots. With their heavy insulation, waterproof construction, and stout materials, the Durands will put the hold on any winter weather that would otherwise leave your feet cold and wet. Since comfort is always a factor when it comes to footwear, KEEN went ahead and threw in a cushioning midsole, heat-reflective footbed, and a plush faux fur collar to help trap extra heat and add a stylish touch. Their rubber sole is lugged to provide great traction whether you're post-holing in powder or making careful strides on slick and icy surfaces.

    Great boot

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I tried on many boots and decided on these for my new snow boot. I was skeptical about the fabric and keeping me dry and warm. I was surprised and happy with the outcome. By the end of my activity, the outside was wet, but the inside was dry. My socks were dry and warm!! I feel the length is true to size but as Keen products go, the width is spacious. If you have a really narrow foot, might not be the best. You can lace up tight. The three top hooks are will grab your lace so it stays in place as you continue to lace and tie your boots. The boots are really warm also. I had a normal weight of sock on and my feet were very toasty. So far a great boot.

KEEN Durand Polar Waterproof Boot - Women's

These are great boots. I purchased these for my wife and she loves them. She has other Keen, non-insulated hiking boots, and based on other feedback I read, I did order 1/2 size larger than her other Keens and they fit perfectly. Therefore, I do recommend going up 1/2 size in this style. The boots keep her feet warm and have proven to be comfortable.

Worn for 3 winters, still happy

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am very happy with these boots, they've kept my feet warm and dry for hiking or work or whatever. They've gone through snow, had spikes on them, been used for sledding, gone through slush. Very comfortable, A+! Thank you Keen! Only complaint is I wish they had an anti-microbial lining.

      warm and narrow

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Got these as a gift. The recipient's review:
Bought these boots for hiking in the winter and snowshoeing. So far they have been great. They keep my feet plenty warm and dry when trekking through snow in 20 degree weather for a few hours. The added touch of fur trim makes them casual enough for wearing around town. I would only give four stars for the fit though. They are very narrow, I have never had a problem with shoes being narrow before. However I decided to still give them a try and it seems like as they break in they will be fine.

I was given the boots as a birthday present 2 weeks ago, I had worn the boots about 2 times just to the store, each time my feet felt somewhat cold. Today on Thanksgiving we went on a 3 mile walk on groomed trails in the snow, my feet were drenched, and I could have gotten frost bite, we live in Alaska. A $ 200.00 boot is expected to work as advertised, I am filing a consumer complaint, and the person who gave me the boots is asking for his money back. This is not only disappointing but dangerous, I wore expensive insulated socks which work fine in skates, and expected these to be warm and dry. If my car had broken down or I had hiked more than 3 miles my toes would have frost bite. Once I got home, and took the boots off my feet the entire insoles of the boots were soaked, and my feet blue. Perhaps this is a one off; nonetheless I cannot take these type of risks outdoors in very cold temperatures.

      Doing great here in MN

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 10
      • Height: 5'11"

I've been wearing these nearly non-stop this winter. They've been used on several hiking trips so far and worn in well below zero temps. Work great! Completely waterproof and comfortable enough to be worn for a longer hike, NO blisters or sore spots. I am 100% happy with these boots. In regards to sizing, I wear a 9.5-10 and I got a size 10 in these. I wear them with a mid weight sock.

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: 9
      • Height: 5'9"
      • Weight: 145lbs

Wife wears size 9 for several other Keen boots and shoes. Loyal yo Keen. These were good length but ay too narrow for her and yes, she has a wide foot.
