First the fit.. it is fantastic. I am 6'1" and weigh about 190 and I got a Medium. The sleeves are long enough and there is a small elastic band at the wrist that keeps the sleeves in place, and not over your palms. The length is also really good, and has the same elastic band to keep the hem in place. I love the pocket, I mean I've been wanting a pull-over fleece for a while that has pockets - not sure why this is so rare. But this one is very nice, and there are zippers so small items won't fall out if you get upside down out there. I would call this a mid-weight fleece - perfect on a cool day over a tee-shirt, or use it as a mid-layer over a baselayer under a shell/puffy on a colder day. Very versatile. I got the black one with lighting bolts, and I was skeptical at first (went for the one in my size and this was the only choice) - but I really like it. The pattern is much more subtle than the pics look. At first, I actually thought it was all black. And seeing that I'm a huge Grateful Dead fan, I actually really love the lightning bolts - although I haven't found any 13-pointers yet ;) It's soft, comfy, and fits right - so far, this is the best fleece I've ever owned (and not my first, or fifth even).

I bought the lightning bolt one for my husband and he loves it. It has an awesome fit and works well for a long torso. The photo looks purple, but the lightning bolt fleece is actually black.

I bought this fleece the minute I saw it on a friend of mine. Very well-made, and the zippered kangaroo pocket is an awesome feature. Like most fleeces, after a certain amount of use, it does pill slightly, but the fun patterns do a pretty good job disguising it and it's just as comfy as the day I bought it. I wear this camping, hiking, and lounging around the house and it works equally well for all of the above.

I don't typically write reviews on purchases but this item is the exception. I've tried the Patagonia Synchilla and never felt comfortable with the fit as the medium was too short and the large felt like I was wearing a Hefty trash bag with the drawstrings pulled around the bottom. I snagged this thing and right away I was in love. Fits great, looks rad and the chicks dig it. When you're hot doggin' your way down the mountain in a pair of jorts and this sweater, throwing daffies and spreadies off everything, you better keep your head on a swivel during après because all the ladies will be throwing their clothes at you. Don't think twice about getting one of these for yourself.

Hello! I would love to order one, but I am worried about ordering the wrong size. I usually wear a large t-shirt (depending on brand) and I wear a 36 in jeans. Should I order a Large or and Xtra Large? Thank you so much! The measurement that I'm worried about is the waist only. Everything else with the size Large works. Thank you so much!
