Why we Like The FX96 Ti Ski

When the frontside conditions are crispy and firm we click-in to the Kastle FX96 Ti Ski. This powerful set of frontside rippers use a titanal laminate to add power and control to a damp woodcore. This combination results in powerful edge hold on icy slopes without the annoying chatter in the tips and tails.

I bought these Kastle FX96 Ti skis during an off-season Backcountry sale, and I'm looking forward to an entire season of skiing them at Mammoth and June Mountains in California. The high-quality build is everything you would expect from Kastle. The skis did need some fine-tuning.

The YouTube reviews are dead on. I live in Breck and have skied them all over the mountain with no complaints. 10 days so far. They like to be skied hard especially on groomers- don’t ski them lazily.

Bought these skis and mounted with Attack 14 GW bindings. They have a light swing weight with excellent torsional stability. Primarily used in West Coast conditions both on and off piste. I find they do great on steeps and through chopped up conditions, and they still float because of the lightweight Hollowtech shovels. I highly recommend the FX96Ti if you are looking for a mid 90s ski that handles about everything in Tahoe with power and agility.
