    You'll forget you're riding a split.

Karakoram changed the splitboarding game when it introduced its patented clips a few years back. Now its taken things a step further with the Ultra Splitboard Clips. This new design provides greater compression, making your split feel more like a solid snowboard than ever before. Not only do these clips improve the ride, but they also shave a bit of weight and are actually easier to open and close. They're simply a must-have when it comes to riding technical terrain in the backcountry.

    Rigid and solid board feel!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got these to upgrade a voile china clip and could feel the difference, not only does it feel solid but it is also low profile and sleek. It also helps a ton with the torsional stiffness. Add this to your quiver and once they make a more solid design for your tail and nose clip. Us splitters can have an awesome solid feel.

    Great, with one down side

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I absolutely love these clips. They hold my board together better than any other clips I've owned; which has been a lot... From bottomless powder to sun-baked crud, it's comforting knowing that you'll have a solid feeling board to ride. The only down side is that they can freeze in adverse conditions, which will make it a bit difficult to work with.... With that being said, every splitboard clip I've used will do this to some extent.

Do these clips mount the same way using similar hardware as the older version such that I can upgrade my existing setup with these?
