    Best of both worlds.

Unless you are lucky enough to win the lottery, the exorbitant prices of split-specific bindings usually mean choosing between investing in your touring setup and getting a season pass. Karakoram is attempting to eliminate the need for you to make that choice with the Prime Connect-SF Splitboard Binding. It attaches to both the Karakoram split connect system and solid snowboards via the included Quiver-Connectors, meaning you can easily swap it between your split and solid so you don't have to purchase two separate sets of bindings.

The key feature of the Connect is the Quiver-Connector system. It comes standard with two Quiver-Connectors, which are the means by which this binding attaches to a board with a 4-hole system. By setting up the Quiver-Connectors on your boards ahead of time, you can switch the bindings from one board to the next in mere seconds, all without fussing with screws, angles, or stance measurements. Take the split out before the lifts start running, switch over to your solid pow board to snag some freshies at the resort, then finish off the day with some groomer laps on your carving board, all with the same set of bindings.

    • Versatile design that switches between split and solid boards
    • Quiver-Connectors let you switch between boards quickly
    • Active Joining Technology ensures solid, responsive feel
    • All-mountain tuned baseplate handles pow and groomers alike
    • Air Flow highback is lightweight and medium-flexing
    • Open Binding chassis allows board to flex torsionally
    • 2-stage dampening smooths out the ride
    • Connect Split system sold separately
    • Karakoram bindings are made in Washington, USA

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Use it both on my split board and resort board. Feel comfortable doing any style of riding and love the quick transition. Make sure you check to see if the split kit is included with the bindings. Made that mistake and had to order separately. No big deal, love the Karakoram bindings!

    Amazing!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I can honestly say I was a little skeptical of the whole convenience thing but man was I wrong. I was sent a Prototype of these a few years ago and really only used them for touring at first but then the real genius of the connects showed itself. I now take 2 boards to the resort. It’s been a blast being able to switch back and forth faster than you can even start to take a disc binding off and if you feel like touring, they are a fully functional splitboard binding. Just purchase the split kit that is sold separately and you are flying up a mountain in no time. If you dabble in everything or just want 1 binding for your split, powder and everyday stick, look no further. They come in 3 models but all enjoy the same system the main difference is going to be flex.
