Survivalist's dream hammock fly

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing is pretty cool when used with a Roo Hammock and Python Straps. It creates a nice tent feelin' whilst keeping you up off the ground. The water collection idea is pretty cool, definitely would be clutch in a survival situation. Its a little pricey, but it's a worthwhile investment as they use a really strong material.

Dry and Warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Me and my girlfriend wanted to camp out in our hammock on a backcountry trip. The weather wasn't looking so good so I brought my glider to use for the first time. We experienced rain and even snow throughout the night and morning. We stayed completely dry and kept warm under the shelter. I will be using this all the time now that I know what it is capable of! It can be used for more than just sleeping, we cooked and packed underneath it as well to stay dry.

Highly recommend.
