Disappointed but not bad

Pretty disappointed with how warm these boots keep your feet. Very thick, and they are slightly hard to put on, the pull tab at the back could be quite a bit bigger and that would help. They are very comfortable though, so I will give them that. Pretty stiff boot, so there is not a lot of ankle mobility so keep that in mind. Seem pretty durable so far though through 4 months of almost daily use. Definitely not a bad boot for the money, but that -40 degree rating is exaggerated and the main detractor.

Too thick

I expected a big boot given that this one is rated to -40F, however this boot's insulation was a bit thicker and stiffer than I expected. So it's warm but the dexterity is lacking, particularly around the ankles, perhaps by design. Sizing is true to size, I wear a size 9 and the 9 fits me here.
