Nice boots
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Fit:
- True to size
I love them. I have used the boots in the Santa Barbara's winter days and on ski resorts. Then look very nice, they are warm and worked very well for me on snowy floors. I have used then for a few seasons now but, i do a light use on it. I do not need a Heave work Boots.

Flawed Zipper - far from "Heavy Duty"!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

- True to size

- 12
Advertised as Heavy-duty zip closure - not! Zipper design is flawed, as others mentioned they do not stay zipped and are prone to breakage. Have worn the boots only 6 or 7 times and the zipper snapped off : o ( I will try Jason's suggestion and see if I can have a better zipper installed at a shoe repair store. On a positive note, the boots are very warm

I know people have blasted this boot for the flawed zipper system but they didn't really give them a chance. I got around the zipper flaw by taking them into a shoe repair store and having a new zipper system installed on them. It voids the warranty but these are the most comfortable and warm winter shoes I've ever owned. The factory zippers aren't the best but for another 20.00 to put on 2 new zippers Its 100% worth it. They are extremely warm and water resistant as the day is long. They fit true to size and mixed with some merino wool socks they are comparable to the best winter insulated shoes on the market. The picture below is a before picture showing that the zipper on mine did infact come off. I will put up and after picture next time I wear these into work

Zipper is flawed
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Fit:
- True to size
I put these boots on and walked around my house. The zipper on the left boot was fine, but the one on the right unzipped repeatedly after walking only a few steps. The front zipper design is poor and does not work well. I returned them as they are completely non-functional. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who actually wants to keep their shoes on their feet.

Zipper won't stay up
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:
- True to size
The zipper keeps falling down on one of the boots after just a few minutes of walking in it, a fundamental flaw, causing me to return the boots for a different brand. It's unbelievable that the company is able to manufacture and sell such a fundamentally shoddy product. Don't waste your time or your money.

Great boot
At the out set, the zipper seems stiff and hard to pull up but it breaks in to become easy. While I prefer a W width size the M width fits fine with sport socks but not with thicker wool socks. For an older person like myself the zipper makes putting them on and taking them off very easy. For short trips out side I just slip them on and don't need to zip them up. Warm and convenient for our Alaskan weather.
