Chakra Plus Helmet

The Kali Chakra Plus Enduro helmet keeps things simple for lightweight, comfortable protection. The Chakra Plus foregoes a bunch of fancy gimmicks to bring you the protection you need at only 330 grams.

The Chakra Plus is made with in-mold construction. That means that the lightweight EPS foam is bonded to the polycarbonate shell. This process allows Kali to create the lightest helmet possible. 22 vents keep air flowing through the moisture-wicking, removable pads. An adjustable chin strap keeps the Chakra Plus firmly in place while you ride, and a breakaway visor shields your eyes from sun and branches.

Decent cranial protection

I've put it through the wringer

I have a Kali Chakra Plus helmet as my go to for hot days, it's got really great ventillation for keeping my noggin cool while staying safe. It's not the most comfortable helmet I've ever owned, but at the price it's hard to beat.

Reliable performer

I've used it several times
True to size

The Kali brand is known for their innovation and their unique designs. This helmet represents the entry-level tier of helmets and does a fantastic job and keeping you safer on the bike. It has relatively clean lines and the fit is good for more oval shaped heads. It is a solid choice for an intermediate rider looking to upgrade their shell from their 1990s bell/skate helmet. Ventilation is adequate and the fit system is functional.

Protects the brain

I've put it through the wringer

I got this for my wife as she is new to MTB. She says it works well, runs a little large.

Good Choice of Helmet

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The dial adjustment is super easy to use, and the fit is super comfortable. It's surprisingly lightweight and the vents are so much more breathable than the old box-store helmet from college I'm used to. Women's cut helmets are usually too small for me, so the M/L dialed all the way back fits me just right. I'm stoked that this comes in matte finish options and matches the rest of my gear. If you're ready to upgrade your helmet but are still on a budget, the Chakra is a solid choice.

Great Price for a Good Helmet

I've put it through the wringer

This helmet has done well. It is well ventilated and light weight. The protection is good too. Wish it was a little more snug in the fit though. If you pay for what you get, then this helmet is a straight steal.

the adjustment on the back of the helmet

Runs large

the adjustment on the back of the helmet releases when I tighten it to my head.

Shaka for the Chakra!

I've put it through the wringer

Love the fit, venting is great and not a high sitting helmet, rides nice..hehehe pun intended! I love this helmet, great price point and solid product. Size xs/s ordered and fit is spot on.

Best Helmet For Price by Far

I've put it through the wringer

This helmet is lightweight and has features seen on helmets twice as expensive. I use this for all mountain, XC, and even dabble in road with it. It does come with a bug net which protects the hair from unwanted guests when zipping around the Great Salt Lake. While fairly lightweight, the helmet seems to offer excellent protection due to its design but I hope to never test it out. I would certainly say buy this helmet if you are considering it.

Great Helmet

I've put it through the wringer

I got this helmet for my son, and he loves it. It has good ventilation, and easy adjustment for large or small heads. It's a great value and doesn't look like a 'Kid's helmet'

on the back adjustment.. It reaches a smaller size ,but then releases.. Is there something wrong with this? I never had a helmet do that.
