Working with K2 for his pro-model, he wanted a premium snowboard boot made with a softer flex for getting low into turns and riding like a surfer on a wave. While most soft-flexing snowboard boots are made with low grade materials and break down fairly quickly, the K2 Taro Tamai Snowsufer Boa Snowboard Boot is made with the same materials as it's stiff counterparts.

Starting with a medium-soft flex, this boot enables you to get low loose into your turns whether you're carving on groomers or riding the legendary Hokkaido powder. Boa H3 Focus lacing provides two areas of tightening so you can dial in the perfect fit while eliminating heel lift so that you get the most power out of your turns. A heat-moldable Intuition Pro Foam liner contours to your foot for a custom fit, and SpaceHeater technology keeps you toasty warm for long days of throwing up cold smoke. A 3D Dual Density footbed absorbs shock while you're transitioning from powder to chunder and everything in between. To top it all off, a Vibram RollSole offers lightweight traction on snow and ice while bootpacking or snowshoeing to the top of your objective.
