Powabunga Ski

The Powabunga Ski is K2's fattest ski for righteous freeriding down the mountain's deepest powder days. It sports a 136mm waist width that stays afloat over the soft stuff, while K2's Powder Rocker assures a playful, maneuverable feel down the deeps. This profile includes a high, long rise in the tip and tail that help you keep your tips up while you turn, and the tip and tail are tapered in order to ease your turn release and reduce deflection, so you don't catch an edge and tumble down what would have been the best ride of the season.

K2 built the Powabunga's core out of three different woods for stunning performance. The core utilizes aspen, paulownia, and bamboo to give the ski a resilient, damp, and easy-to-ski nature. This trifecta uses these different woods in key areas to assure the utmost performance on the snowiest days. K2 also added a triaxial braided fiberglass that enhances torsional strength, without interfering the core's lively flex patterns. To top it off, K2 constructed this ski with durable TwinTech sidewalls and an impact-resistant top sheet to assure longevity.
