Fatty Ski

If you want to be quick, nimble, and leave the confines of traditional skis behind, then the K2 Fatty Ski might just be your speed. They only come in one length for a classic, easily maneuverable snowblade feel, and the rockered profile makes it difficult to catch an edge. A durable cap construction and extruded base means you'll be enjoying these blades for seasons to come, and also keeps them light and fast. These blades come with bindings, too, which easily work with traditional ski boots.

  • Get down the mountain in a different way with these fun snowblades
  • Short length makes for easy maneuvering
  • Rockered profile makes catching an edge difficult
  • Cap construction adds durability for seasons of fun
  • Extruded base is durable and fast
  • Binding can be used with ski boots and is not releasable

The Legend

I had a pair of these about 20 years ago! So much fun.... and versatile! And basically the least cool things you can rock at the resort. RIP Shane

Is Your Mountain Ready

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

The spirit of Saucer Boy has been revitalized by K2 and the Fatty's. Do you feel like you need to let loose and rip? Do you find yourself wishing to be rid of inhibition? Well you've got no choice once these are on your feet, you can't help but embrace the spirit. On a serious note, these things are incredible. They hold their edge surprisingly well as long as the binding is adjusted appropriately. Edge to edge is quick for easy maneuverability and the 88 cm makes them fun to mess around on. Also, they do not fit well in a ski rack and I wouldn't trust it.

Just as Wes said, if you are looking to spice things up on those not so great days on the resort, then these are definitely a way to do it. Playful, and silly and really easy to adjust the bindings so plenty of people can try them out.

If you are looking for a way to spice up those less than ideal days at the resort you found it. These things are a blast and the binding makes it super easy to share the fun with everyone in your posse. Plus they rip.

Ski Blades. The most fun you'll have on two tiny sticks. These things are a blast for any day, but when it hasn't snowed in a while and you just want to mess around, these are great to have. Saucer boy rises again.
