Diversion Helmet

A world away from the heavy brain buckets of old, the K2 Diversion Audio Helmet uses hybrid construction to provide lightweight protection so you can focus on your line. This top-of-the-line helmet meets industry standards and certifications to help protect your noggin during a sudden crash or cartwheel session. Equipped with dual active matrix venting technology, the Diversion lets you regulate airflow with the touch of your finger while the goggle vents remain open to keep fogging at bay.

Its 360 K2dialed fit system features an ergonomically inspired three-point adjustable interface to maximize fit and customization with the twist of a dial for superb on-the-fly convenience. And you're going to dig its removable, washable full-wrap liner system that wicks moisture away and supplies breathable comfort when you flip and spin in the pipe. Don't worry about a gap between your goggles and helmet, since the Diversion's universal brim design works seamlessly with K2 goggles and most industry goggles.

The baseline audio level 3 sound system brings your tunes to your ears and connectivity to your phone when you shred or chill on the lift. Its integrated headphones and on-cord mini-mic connect to your cell phone or your MP3 player for easy connection when you tackle gnarly terrain or spin yourself dizzy in the park.

very happy with helmet

This is my second Diversion helmet. After 5 years of trashing my original (and a couple spills) it was time for a new helmet. The updated styling looks sharp and this model feels lighter than the original. old schooler her that still uses a wired music device, so the audio jack is nice. like all audio helmets-not as l loud as i like, so i have a cheap "bass booster" that does the trick. my only minor complaint is the volume wheel on the cord. not very glove friendly, but easy enough to adjust when on the lift. venting is very good as well.

Awesome helmet

I've used it several times

I’ve always wore k2 helmets and they have never let me down. Nice snug fit, comfortable, venting is awesome and audio is decent. Seems like they have improved the boa tightening system over the years 👍👍

Great fit. Very light. Great ventilation

I've used it several times

Great fitting helmet with the dial adjustment. Much better than other helmets I’ve used. Extremely light. Extremely well ventilated. Much better than my previous helmet(Anon). The great fit keeps my goggles in place. I wear my snapback hat on the last two or three snaps and the Large size K2 fits me perfectly.

Decidedly Average - Fit/form review only

I returned this product before using it

I haven't actually used this helmet, so take my review with a grain of salt. I bought a size medium for my 57 cm head, and it does not fit. Apparently my head is more oval than round, and this is certainly a rounder helmet as it had side-to-side room, but fore-to-aft it squished and gave me a headache in a matter of minutes. It appears well made, though not of the highest quality (outer plastic seems cheaper than the high-end helmets from other mfgs, though I wouldn't call it "cheap" outright. My biggest issue with this helmet is the vents - they are adjustable, but they open up very little, and I am hard-pressed to believe that the added ventilation will be very functional (though I did not test). I am shopping for a well-ventilated helmet, and with the round shape and low-throughput vents, this just isn't right for someone who overheats as much as I do. It otherwise appears nice. I would say it's a middle-of-the-road helmet - average in about every way. I do like the color.
