    Vermont Polarized 3 Sunglasses

"Retro" and "vintage" aren't usually the words you want associated with your mountaineering equipment, and while you don't want to hit the mountain with a pair of antique ice axes, the iconic and decidedly old-school Julbo Vermont Polarized 3 Sunglasses are a reliable option for shaded vision in exposed alpine environments. Their polarized lenses will fight the glare coming off of melting snowfields, while leather side shields ensure complete coverage to keep your eyes protected from harsh light and strong rays. The classically styled temple ends deliver vintage vibes when you decide to rock these glasses around town during your trip's downtime, and are flexible enough to give you a secure fit around the ears when you're pushing towards that elusive summit.

    • Iconic pair of mountaineering sunglasses for high-alpine pursuits
    • Polarized lenses eliminate glare from ice walls and snowy peaks
    • Leather side shields offer complete coverage in harsh alpine light
    • Flexible temple ends wrap around the ears for a secure fit

These are my favorite mountaineering glasses!! They are a must have if you are hiking on snow for an extended period of time. They have the extra polarization and the side blinders to cut down on the reflected sun exposure from the snow. Trust me, I didn't have them last year and after 8 hours of hiking in normal sunglasses, my eyes hurt so much. These are really great for people with a smaller face. They are super comfortable too. I've also had a ton of compliments on them :)

    nice glacier glasses

the peripherals are not as bad as you might think. but the vision isn't as wide as other models. and arms are a little too curved but it might work better if you have small ears. they can get a little foggy when your really moving but otherwise they are great

Hey Eric, Dave here from Julbo. You might try our Cham glacier glasses. They are a little bigger and the temple arms are adjustable. If you have any issues or questions, let us know, happy to help!
