    Kick up some dust.

The dust may be swirling on the trail ahead of you, choking the competitors behind you, or merely riding on you face in the form of the Julbo Dust Zebra Photochromic Sunglasses. Sleek and streamlined, these shades adjust according to the conditions so you can see all and stay one step ahead.

    Great All-Around Shades

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I own other Julbo photochromic products (ski goggles with Snow Tiger lenses) and love the optics and versatility they provide. The Zebra lenses are no different; they adapt so well to different light levels that I almost never have to take the glasses off. The frames and lenses on the Dust have ended up fitting my face perfectly as well, so it's easy to just leave them on. They look pretty "athletic", but I would have no qualms wearing the bright blue frames casually as well. Perhaps the only criticism I have of the lenses is that I find they don't get quite dark enough for sustained really bright usage, for instance on snow in full sun. I've used them for ski touring on a day with variable sun exposure, however, and they performed flawlessly. I think I could use them in really bright light too, but they may not be best for that. I believe they darken into the "lighter side" of Julbo's Spectron 4 category, so for glacier usage or other sustained full sun a dedicated darker lens might be more appropriate. I knew this about them before I bought, however, so it's really not a dealbreaking issue. Finally, they don't work well for me while driving. Julbo recommends against using them for this anyway, and what I've found is that the photochromic attributes don't seem to function as well in the car, meaning they don't darken enough and my eyes feel strained. Outside, however, they seem to function much more effectively. Limitations aside, they're a great general use lens/shade.

    Another One Buys the Dust

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great lenses, as expected from Julbo. Good coverage for trail mountain biking, The photochromic thing works! I lost one pair and this is the second I buy. I do not know if they look good on me but I do look well through them...

    good at dawn

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these for my dad who rides his bike early. He was having trouble seeing deer who run out so we got him these. He is satisfied with the visual enhancement the yellow optics give in low light.

    So Very Retro!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I bought these for hiking and love 'em. There are times even it doesn't even feel like I am wearing sunglasses!
My only complaint is this- if I have my hair in braids or want to wear a hat in addition, I must put the glasses on first and then style my hair or place the hat on otherwise it's oddly uncomfortable to put the glasses on. They refuse to glide thru my hair- it's almost painful and impossible to get them on? Sounds strange but nevertheless true. Anyhow- I can deal with it. From now on- I will seek out glasses with similar lenses, this much is true.

    Sleek and multipurpose

These are my first pair of Julbo sunglasses or goggles. I have a particular fit when it comes to glasses and its difficult to find something thats sleek, but still have good coverage with less tendency to fog up. More coverage usually means more fogging, but these do a great job of dumping heat. They will fog up in very humid conditions, but thats to be expected. Good for running, climbing, biking, hiking, you name it. The frames are slightly flexible too so they are much less likely to break.

My only gripe is that there isn't a swappable Cat 4 lens for purchase for the really bright days. I wouldn't recommend these for snow travel on sunny days, but they would perform very well at lower elevations on cloudy days.

    Comfy frame awesome lens

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

The lens is money. Nothing better, anti fog and quick change. Enough protection for beach to high mtns or the range amazingly enough. Tough and exceptionally comfortable frame. And yes I love the bright frame colors!

    Great glasses

Love the Zebra lens. It works well in low light to all but the brightest light conditions. Arms have good hold but do not press on the side of your head too hard. I have used them running, biking and skiing.
