The foundation of the fleet.
Leveraging two decades of Jeremy Jones' experience perfecting freeride-specific shapes, the Jones Flagship Wide Snowboard is a directional dream ride that destroys steep, exposed lines and fresh tree runs with equal parts power and precision. Wider than the standard Flagship, this board accommodates riders with big feet, meaning you can cruise without pesky toe drag bringing you down. Spoon 3.0 upturns the base edges of the board, starting at the rockered point and continuing through the nose and tail. This upturned, 3D-shaped base smoothly redirects snow around the board's tip and tail, eliminating the "plowing" effect of traditional boards. Ultimately, it maximizes deep snow buoyancy while creating fluid edge-to-edge transitions.
The board's Directional Rocker features a large, blunted nose with an elongated rocker for ample float when your local mountain gets buried with fresh snow. Responsive camber underfoot rails with precision and holds steady on the steepest faces, with extra help from the grippy Mellow Magne-Traction edges. On the inside, the Power core is comprised of triple-density wood with bamboo stringers for extra strength and snap. Power V Basalt Stringers maximize energy transfer to the tip and tail, also preventing the tips from chattering at high speeds. Another innovative additive are Flax fibers, which create high-performance damping when you're charging through choppy snow and uneven terrain.

- Q & A
My Daily Driver
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Board: Flagship 161cm
Bindings: Now Drive - with custom mashup of Burton/Now straps.
Rider Weight: 180lbs
Rider Height: 6'0''
Rider Boot Size: 10
Quiver Position: Freeride - with powder/all mountain qualities
My ideal quiver includes:
Powder / Freeride-Freestyle / All-Mountain / Party or Jib / Split Board
The Flagship is that Freeride board that is versatile enough for a range of days on the mountain including pow stashes and ripping corduroy on the frontside.
My Daily Driver:
This was my daily driver last winter and a board I've enjoyed riding lines off the Cirque on deep days at the Bird and those less fun hard pack/chunder days. For me, this is the perfect board and one I'd recommend folks go for if they are after a stiffer freeride board.
This is a board that is on the stiffer end of the flex spectrum and for the riders that are use to riding boards that are softer in more of the middle of the flex range, then this will be a tough adjustment. There are other boards that would better suite a riding that likes a softer board (hit me up and we can chat about how this board compares to others and if it's the right one for you). But for the heavier riders or the rider that likes a stiffer ride, this is a top end option to consider.
The thing that is the most distinct about the flex is that it is stiff but forgiving at times. The forgiveness was more noticeable in the torsional flex and from my understanding that is more a trait of the flax fiberglass topsheet.
There are a range of board options and this one might be for you....and it might not. Let's chat to make sure. We can also talk shop on boot, binding and board combos and how each part of the set up effects the others for your specific situation.
I'd encourage you to hit me up via email - email@example.com
(this way I'll get these during off hours)
