Tell gravity to take a hike.

Just as its name implies, the Jones Hovercraft Women's Snowboard makes it feel like you're flying when you're surfing through untouched powder. Its tapered shape, rockered nose, and Directional Rocker make staying afloat in bottomless snow almost effortless, and it's still capable of serving up good times even when conditions are less than perfect.

Camber underfoot provides edge hold and stability on hardpack, a long rockered nose keeps it afloat in powder, and the short tail makes it highly maneuverable in deep snow. It that wasn't enough, though, so Jones also incorporated Spoon 4.0 technology, which lends a spoon-like shape to the nose and tail. This 3D-contoured base pushes snow out to the sides of the board for improved float and added speed.

Much more versatile than its pow-specific shape would suggest, the Hovercraft excels at shredding firm snow when the pow's all tracked up. Mellow Magne-Traction improves edge hold by adding multiple contact points along the running length of the board, giving you insane grip on icy slopes. Biax glass gives it a forgiving flex for surfy carve and easy turn initiation, while carbon stringers enhance pop and response. Furthermore, the board's aluminum tip and tail protectors, Recycled ABS Sidewalls, and Recycled Stronger Edges make this board super durable, allowing you to ride it through tight trees and rocky faces without worry.

    Splitboard Powder Heaven

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

From the Teton backcountry to the Wasatch - this board sets the standard during a powder day. I still grab my solution when it hasn't snowed in a few days - but when the AVY forecast calls for 5+ inches - this is my go to board for pow-floating.

    Splitboard Powder Heaven

    Oh Boy - The Hovercraft!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'll never part ways with my first Jones Hovercraft....even once its seen its last day of riding. We've had some great days at the resort. Some deep days. Some tired days. Some rough ones too.

But my love for the board aside, the float in the deep powder and the handling on hard pack is a combo that you just can't easily find in other "powder" specific boards out there. The big fat shovel nose on this with the right amount of rocker and now the Spoon geometry is just bad ass.
