Leans like the tower of piza
Both units I received (original order and replacement) are crooked. They lean to such a degree that the stove has to be on an unlevel surface in order to safely boil without risking boilover. For $150, this shouldnt be a problem. I'll stick to my 15 year old jetboil. They were made more reliably, back in the day.

Not bad, not great
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought it because it has an igniter and the ability to simmer, which my former, less expensive camp stove did not have. It takes up more space in my backpack because you can't nest the canister in the cup (unless you buy the 100g ones, which you'll need to carry more of than the 230g so that beats the purpose). It works well when you can ignite it, but I've had too many times where the igniter just doesn't work. Sent it in for repair, igniter was replaced, and within 3 uses it doesn't work anymore, despite following the manufacturer's directions (not to place the cup until after the stove was ignited). The idea is great, the quality not so much. Yes, I can (and do) carry a lighter with me, but if that's the case why spend so much money on a stove with a feature that doesn't work? An igniter is a pretty basic piece, if it fails so quickly and often there's a QA issue, that shouldn't arise with an expensive stove.

I used this for a whole season AMAZING!
This is now an essential piece of equipment for backpacking, hiking and outdoor activities. I can literally make hot chocolate, coffee, soups in less than 5min from setup to eating. This is the best portable stove I’ve ever used. I was using this once tailgating next to a guy setting up a full barbecue with a burner. He was still sitting up by the time we were finished eating!

Perfect for Backpacking!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I took this MiniMo an a 3 day backpacking trip and it was perfect for boiling just enough water for 2 people for meals or for 2 cups of coffee. Light and efficient -- easy to pack (and could even fit the gas and lighter into the cup for compact packing. Gets the job done!

Why?
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Heavy, expensive, over the top, and full of unneeded accessories. An MSR pocket rocket is 100x better AND way cheaper.

AWESEOMEEEEE
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
This was a great gift for my boyfriend. He loved how light and compact it is. It was a little bigger than I was expecting but since he loves it, it's a winner. Be aware that these don't come with the canister, but they are super easy and cheap to find!

The Bomb!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
If I am not going UL with my alcohol stove, doing Marine Corps shenanigans, or I am the camp chef for an outing this is my go too. The regulator/coffee press allows me to steam veggies, dry bake, simmer one pots, french press coffee, you name it. If you aspire to do more than boil water this is the stove for you!

Great Stove!

This stove has been a perfect edition to my camping supplies. I have typically used a larger burner (whisp) but the ease of use on this stove is much better.

Love the addition of simmering
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I've had a Jetboil Flash for a few years and it worked wonderfully for boiling water drinks/dehydrated or freeze dried meals, etc. But the big issue had always been turning down the flame to simmer. Well this MiniMo stove will turn way down to simmer. It adds a ton of versatility to your cooking in the backcountry. I have used it to simmer homecooked meals and just keep a meal warm until we are ready to eat. Much better stove. Also the pot is not as tall and thus much easier to eat out of. And the piezo starter has worked flawlessly for me.

Essential Piece of Backpacking gear
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These jetboils are such an awesome invention. The spark lighter gets the flame going instantly, and the flame doesn't blow out in the wind. Perfect for boiling water really fast for any sort of backcountry meal or hot drink. They don't take up much room in your pack because it all packs within itself (fuel doesnt pack inside container). All in all a must piece of gear for backpackers.

Great Cooking System
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This is a great cooking system, and boils water amazingly fast. We brought it on a backpacking trip soon after purchasing it, and it worked great. It fits within the cup, which made it easy to pack. Meals were easy with the MiniMo, which gave us more time to enjoy the lake we hiked to. In fact, we liked how quick it was so much, that we also bought a larger butane canister to bring it along when we go car camping. It was great to pull out in the morning and warm our kids up with some hot chocolate. No complaints about this one.

Perfect size, fast

I use this for boiling water for Mountain house packs and making coffee. it's really fast, and I've had jetboils before. Nice that it has marks on it for the typical mountain house required water amount.

Love the stove, the starter is a pain
The starter stopped working after a couple of uses, not a huge deal but kind of a drag. Other than that the stove is great, boils crazy fast and reasonably light.

Jetboil has nailed canister stoves
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is the first canister stove I have used in over a decade. I got tired of messing with half full canisters, trying to weigh them and, disposing of empty ones. I frequently found myself either buying a new canister each time I went hiking or packing two. I also didn't like the hassle of disposing of the empty canisters. So I switched to alcohol, solid fuel, and white gas stoves. Jetboil has made this easier. With smaller canisters (that fit inside the cook kit), a jet guage, and a crunch-it It feels like they have taken some of the hassle out of dealing with canisters. I definitely recommend this stove. I've used it for groups up to three which is about as large a group as I can recommend. For for groups of 1-3 It is sufficient in size and super easy to use.

Hey Itay, Thanks for writing this review! Oftentimes the issue with the igniter is the small metal piece at the end is bent away from the fuel so it's not sparking in the right spot. Try giving it a bend toward the burner and it should work much better!!
