Fuel can stabilizer review

This stabilizer broke the first time I used it. One arm broke off trying to remove it from the fuel can. It fits the fuel can too tight.

BREAKS VERY EASILY

requiring lots of force to use + little flexibility = very breakable Mine broke on my very first camping trip using it. Used it maybe a total of 3-5 times, and one of the legs snapped on me while trying to remove it from a cannister of fuel. Most of the Jetboil products are very good. This is not one of them.

Great stand

These are nice stands but I have broken two getting them off the can. Not sure if it’s me or the product. But they work great when on.

Get a second just in case

We purchased a second Fuel Can Stabilizer for our MiniMo system. Our experience with the base is a very durable plastic, solid hinge points, and it truly stabilizes our cooking platform when traveling. Just remember, what you place the stabilizer on may wind up in your MiniMo pot if you store it in the designated area, so clean your base off while you are doing the dishes.

Broke the very first time I tried to remove it…

I was pretty bummed when it broke the very first use. I’ve had lots of other stabilizers and this definitely seems well made but once it goes on it’s really difficult to pull it off. I thought for sure that I was missing something but all of the other experienced campers I was with agreed. They were kind enough to send me another one but I’m worried that it will just do the same thing again.

Functional Product

This product works well for its intended use. I recommend it! I had received a Jetboil Flash as a gift but it didn't have one of these or a bottom cup on it so I ordered replacement parts!

Works great

Over the years, I had lost both the fuel can stabilizer and the lid from my Jetboil Flash, rendering it much less convenient to use. The stabilizer arrived within a couple of days, but I had to order the lid from another vendor. Now I have a complete Jetboil again!

AsAdvertised

Light weight, actually seems to protect the ignition elements when stored, and stabilizes the heck out of the stove. It even worked on snow last week in an early fall snowstorm.
