Feast like a king.

Feed a small army with your Jetboil 5L Flux Pot. Ready to use with the Jetboil Genesis and Half Gen Stoves, the Flux will quickly boil up water for MRE's, or simmer a pot of chili to feed your crew after a fun, but calorie draining day in the Zion Narrows. The FluxRing minimizes heat dissipation, and maximizes heat transfer efficiency, with the help of a protective skirt around the edge of the pot that prevents the flame from blowing out. Two easy to carry handles make the pot easy to move to the table for dinner time, and a strainer built into the lid makes for extra easy pasta draining or veggie steaming. Take the Flux with you on your next camping trip and you'll have a dinner fit for kings ready faster than you can say lickity-split.

Great pot

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I lile how fast I can heat up food and boil water. There is a weird smell coming from the bottom and at the beginning it came from the pot itself when it got wet. I like how well the Genesis system fits into the pot for transport. Last time I used this pot it was on a very windy night, however the pot worked great. I hate the plastic lid though, it gets super hot. I bought a metal one that works just fine.

Great for camping

Great for camping with a family. Big enough to warm up soup or stew for 6 people. Fast, efficient, light. Going to get rid of my Prius stove and camp cookware in favor of the big jet boil pots and stove.

Great pot...needs heat resistant lid

I've used my base camp set-up several times. The kit needs a heat resistant lid...especially when using both pots for larger group meals. Fry pan cannot always be used as a lid.

Well made compact good size

use this for mixed dinners rice soup etc. Only problem is that it will not fit into the bag with the Half Gen we bought so as to zip the bag closed; to bad they need not plan for this in the design phase.

great product

Got the product to expand portable cooking options while fishing with friends. Use in conjuction with the side burner option on the half gen system and am pleased to say shore lunches and dinners are easily facilitated. First run was a fantastic basil penne with chicken. The pot is large enough to not only cook good pasta as well be able to mix in the pot without worrying about spilling foods. Great addition to cooking in the outdoors
