    Campsite coffee to trailside dinner.

Whether you're making morning java at the campsite or preparing an energy-enhancing meal deep in the wilderness, the JetBoil Flash Stove quickly boils water for a variety of tasty beverages and filling meals without weighing you down on the trail. The Flash's 4500 BTU output is powerful enough to boil 16 ounces of water in as little as 2.5 minutes, meaning you'll be enjoying a piping hot beverage or steamy meal without endlessly waiting for the stove to do its job.

JetBoil's FluxRing heat exchange system is built directly into the bottom of the insulated cup, maximizing fuel efficiency and promoting even heating by distributing the flame along the bottom of the cup. The cup itself is insulated to keep your beverage or meal from going cold and it's made of anodized aluminum for easy cleaning once you're finished cooking. One of the cup's best features is the color-changing temp indicator, which lets you know when your next meal is hot and ready to serve. As you'd expect, the insulated cozy also prevents you from scalding your hands when you're prepping and serving meals. It's also equipped with a drink-through lid that doubles as a spout and strainer, as well as a bottom cover that doubles as a measuring cup and serving bowl.

The adjustable burner features a one-button piezo ignition for hassle-free lighting, even during inclement conditions where a lighter would normally be warranted. Since the one liter Flux Ring cooking cup snaps directly onto the burner, you'll experience a stable cooking platform, especially when you're using the provided fuel stabilizer below. It's compatible with JetBoil's fuel canisters, which are comprised of mixed fuel for better cooking performance in higher altitudes and cold climates. Please note, the fuel canisters are sold separately and the entire cooking system fits compactly into the FluxRing cooking cup for easy transport in your pack.

    Gourmet on the go

Great compact stove for backpacking and touring. Easy to ignite, but I would recommend bringing back up matches as the ignition is somewhat unreliable. We were able to make an awesome dinner even on day 4 in the mountains!

      Pretty Good

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Holds up true and blue like Jetboil does. Heats up well, and as always have to pay closer attention if actually cooking in it. I rarely cook anything in it. Usually just use this to heat my water.

      Unanswered Question

Is the "carbon" version the new 2018 model? It seems to have a new stove shroud and vent holes. Is the 2018 model for sale?
