Jet Boil Coffee Press

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We love our Jetbboil Coffee Press! Nothing but fresh, hot, good coffee when we’re back in the bush. It’s hard to find a better cup of coffee in the Canadian wilderness! The key is to allow for enough steeping time and to "slowly" push the filter down. If done correctly you too will be enjoying a good hot cup of coffee on your next outdoor excursion!

camp coffee

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This does exactly what it says it does... makes no frills coffee at camp. It is by far not the best french press out there, but absolutely gets the job done.

Quick And Easy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This thing is great. I'm the type of person that needs a little help to get moving in the morning and this is super nice for when you wake up in the woods and realize that your camp spots local backcountry Starbucks hut doesn't open for another hour.

Coffee Fix

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Must have accessory for any Jetboil! Really easy to use and the best way to have quality Joe while you're camping. Like a few others have said, definitely get coarse ground coffee or grind your own beans. Pressing slowly helps as well. All in all, my camping coffee set up is on point with this thing and it's a great addition for any Jetboil.

Feels Like the Old West Again

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got this for myself and some friends to brew coffee on a group camping trip. It really helped make our trip awesome in the morning but left plenty of grinds in the pot. Made me feel like John Wayne sippin this coffee.

Cowboy Coffee Clean-up

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

After the first use, plastic around the filter seemed to shrink slightly, so a few grounds slip past whenever I use it now. This isn't a huge deal if you use coarse grounds or if you don't care what coffee tastes like when you're outdoors because why?

Great little Jetboil item: Great Coffee!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my second press attachment for my 10 year old Jetboil stove. (Lost the first one some time ago...). Quick feature to tuen the Jetboil into a coffee press. Can be used for teas too. Simple to use. Works great. Makes a great tasting cup o Joe.

Best coffee fix!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm an avid coffee drinker and absolutely love french pressed coffee. I love firing up my sumo and having coffee ready for everybody before they're even up. But this, you won't regret. I did buy a second one after my first stated to let grounds through after several years of heavy use, expected though.

easy, fast coffee

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

great and convenient. stores right inside the jetboil for easy storage and carry. I am able to make and have my coffee ready before others get their small percolators set up and on the stove. By the tiime they are perking, I am almost on my second cup

Great for your Press needs

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This fits into my Flash Just fine. At first it was a little challenging figuring out how to store it all with the limited space with the fuel canister. It turns out you just have to find just the right angle on where you insert the two stem pieces to fit it all in at the same time. The seal on the first time was great, but there are the occasional grounds that slip through. But who doesn't love a little cowboy coffee!?!

Overall, it is great product, and a cheap accessory for your coffee needs.

Great for your Press needs

Does it's thing

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have the original Jetboil model when it first came out and used this part to replace my old coffee press that kicked the bucket from wear and tear. It fits is perfectly so it's good to use with the old school Jetboil model and also the new model as well.

Works, but not flawless

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Will definitely brew you a cup of coffee, but be gentle when pressing the grinds down, and don't use fine grounds, or they will slip around the edges of the press.

Unanswered Question

Do I need to purchase the One Size or the Grande to fit the Jet Boil Flash?

My Ti Sol unit says not to cook anything...

My Ti Sol unit says not to cook anything in the cup, soups ect. For boiling water only. Is it ok to make coffee in it and use the press ??

Will this coffee press attachment fit in...

Will this coffee press attachment fit in the Jetboil Sol/Sol Titanium along with the other four standard Jetboil items (i.e., the burner, pot support, fuel cannister, and fuel stabilizer)? Others have already noted that fitting this in the Jetboil Flash cup (1.0 liter capacity; 7.1" tall) with the other four items is doable, but a tight fit (i.e., the plastic lid is just barely sealable on the top of the cup), so I'm curious to know if the Jetboil Sol/Sol Titanium (0.8 liter capacity; 6.5" tall) presents an even greater challenge, if not an impossible one all together.

Will the coffee press AND the pot...

Will the coffee press AND the pot support/stabilizer kit both fit inside the PCS canister together?
