An additional tablet sleeve gives you some extra carry options, while a grip of pockets on the outside of the bag keep all of your daily essentials organized and easily accessible.

    Rad School Pack.

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Pretty much the perfect pack for school and travel with plenty of organization for all of your gizmos and gadgets. There's enough space for school textbooks (gave this to a high school student), with room to spare for a laptop and tablet with the two separate sleeves. Besides being relatively roomy for a 28L Pack, there's a bunch of zippered mesh organizer pockets and side pockets for your water bottles. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a vintage-inspired pack with all of the bells and whistles you'd expect from a modern design.

    Functional Style

I bought this pack for a recent business trip and was pleasantly surprised. It is large enough to hold all the essentials and the multitude of pockets make it easy to keep everything sorted. The flap top also gives it a sense of classic style.

      Good pack

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a good backpack. Lots of storage throughout. I wish the top had a standard opening as this one is a bit cumbersome to get open all the way.

      Right color?

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

When I got it I felt like the colors were wrong compared to the picture on the website. It's not that big of a deal. I love the pack. But I wish they could really show how blue the top flap was. I thought it was going to be all navy throughout. Good pack though.

      Love it!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I ordered the HippyTree version of this pack which is slightly different than the other styles and I love it. I used to use a purse and carry multiple other bags of things to and from work with me every day but my back and shoulders were taking a beating so I decided to switch over to this backpack and I am so happy I did! The internal organizational pockets are great and there is room to store more in the front pockets as well. Although it can be a little awkward to zip the main compartment closed if it's not completely off your back, the way it opens up allows you to see everything very well so you aren't digging blindly in a bottomless pit for your things - I can appreciate finding what I'm looking for! I love that the pack also has an outlet for a hydration bladder and the hippy tree version specifically has an insulated pocket you can store food or a wet bathing suit in. Although the pack does not have a frame in it, it feels supportive and I have not experienced any back or shoulder strain while having this thing fully loaded. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who values functionality and organization.

      Great looking bag.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Since there are no reviews I had to be the first. I got the Midnight blue Jansport Hatchet this color seems to be rare of out all the colors available. A nice sleek design that combines the outdoorsy backpacking look meshed with your typical everyday book bag. LOTS of secret pockets and about 5 additional zipper pockets. Everything about this backpack seems just right. I have bad lower back and I have trouble finding the right bag that is comfortable enough for me. This one is perfect because the straps are padded and takes stress off the shoulders. This is probably the best deal there is out there for these type of backpacks of this make and model. I got the free 2 day shipping but ended up getting it 3 days after the original date expected. I would like to warn you that ONTRAC shipping sucks and they had made several attempts to deliver to my house. It was only after the third time that I finally received the package. 5 stars to Back Country for the backpack but 3 stars to ONTRAC for delayed shipping.

      Great looking bag.
