    Hit the trail in comfort.

The Injinji Outdoor Original Weight Micro Socks keep your feet cool and chafe-free when you hit the trail for the day. This lightweight sock uses a blend of Nuwool (Australian merino), nylon, and lycra for natural moisture wicking, odor resistance, and a bit of stretch. The sock's anatomical toe sleeves have an anti-blister membrane that elimates skin-on-skin friction for hours of comfort, and its ventilated mesh top allows outside air to cool your feet in hot weather.

    • 64% Nuwool (Australian merino wool), 33% nylon, 3% lycra
    • Anatomical toe sleeves
    • Mini-crew height
    • Ventilated mesh top
    • Thin cushioning

    Great at Preventing Blisters

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Ive trail run on these socks twice and this is my initial reaction to them. I did a 16 miler this last weekend, and did so without getting any blisters between my toes. I usually will develop blisters with normal socks after running a long distance, but these socks totally prevented it! The only problem I have with these socks so far is they wear out quickly above your toenails. If you dont file down your toenails, they will only last you maybe 50 miles before wearing out in those spots.

Awesome trail socks that go the distance

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was looking for a good trail sock with good cushion and something that wasn't too warm - I found it in this sock. This is my go to for trail runs between 10-25 miles and will likely become my go-to sock for ultras. Perfect weight, not hot, no rubbing, and great toe splay. Love 'em.

    Great for running

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It took me a little bit to get used to these, but I am now a convert. They keep my feet feeling fresh during my runs and I don't get the feeling of hot spots building between my toes.

    Injinji Genius.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My husband loves these socks! His feedback is as follows:

"I have two pairs of lightweight merino wool socks that I swear by, and for years those two pairs were not Injini socks. That is, until last summer when I had the opportunity to run with Ultrarunner and ultra rad dude Jeff Browning. While we were bounding (I was flailing) along the trail I was picking his brain about everything from diet to gear and that's where I learned about these bad boys. Since then anytime I head out for a trail or road run of any significant distance I throw on my merino Injinji's.

They're unmatched in their fit and their ability to keep my whole foot, including the space between my toes happy and free from hotspots... and this is coming from a guy that never thought he would like toe socks because he hates having his feet / toes played with."

Best socks for hiking and backpacking. After starting my trail with regular hiking socks- I quickly changed over to these. I like how they keep sweat and sand and grit that gets in your shoes from hiking all day clear. The toe separation also cuts down on blisters. Having a great foot care system for the back country helps out- and I find these socks to be integral. Make sure you get a mid weight pair that goes up over the ankles. I made the mistake of getting super thin liners once and I blew a hole in them so fast. -- The mid weight like these here are best.
