Why We Like The Icelantic Maiden 108 Ski
Icelantic's Maiden line has been taking the best athletes in the world down the biggest, steepest lines for eight years, and for this season they revamped the entire collection to provide even more power and stability. The Maiden 108 Ski has the widest waist in Icelantic's freeride lineup, allowing us to blast through champagne powder and float over untouched post-storm fluff. The skis have been updated with carbon stringers running the length of the ski, which reduces chatter and provides more control in variable conditions. The new FLY-cap construction minimizes the swing weight, and the shallow camber underfoot gives us plenty of power as we lean into carves and transition from edge to edge.
