Excellently made, feels good on skin

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XS

Love the v-neck cut, and the flattering way the bottom of the shirt is (it's not just straight/boxy). The shirt feels good in the summer and I fits so nicely. It was hard to find one that I liked because of my bust versus my trunk, but I found something by trial and error. LOVE the green and the ultra violet. Really was worth my money. OH, and you don't have to wash it a ton - it really doesn't smell or even look dirty/bad/poor if you wear it more than once without washing. It may wrinkle if you don't hang it up, but that will sort out once you do hang it up. OH I SO hope that IB brings Meridian top back. It's so unique. Nothing like it.

Most Versatile T-shirt on the Planet!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I pack two of these shirts when traveling. They pack small and light. They wash in the sink and hang dry in a a few hours. I even sleep in them when staying in hostels or backpackers. Best of all, if you are away from water and can't wash a shirt out for a day or two, it still won't stink! I also pack a long sleeved, blouse to wear over these t-shirts for more dressy or conservative situations (the T-shirt shirts worn alone are very sheer and form-fitting). I also always wear this T-shirt under my cycling jersey. It keeps me dry, cool, and non-smelly. No-itch Merino is the best base layer you'll find!

The only shirt I want to wear

I'm 5'8" and 138 lbs. and the medium fits me perfectly. At first I thought it was going to be baggy and then after its first wash it seemed to shrink just a little and it now fits like magic. It seems to hug all the right places and not highlight any of my faults and by this I mean my stomach. Now that I want to wear it everyday I purchased several more because of the confidence of how I look and how the shirt looks gives me. The cut is perfect and the v-neck is not revealing so I wear it to work all the time. Really happy I found it!

    My new favorite t-shirt

The cut of this T-shirt is so comfortable and flattering! I love this top so much that I own the short sleeved version in three different colors and the 3/4 sleeve variant in two colors. The high quality merino and classy v-neck cut make it suitable to wear with skirts or slacks as well as jeans or shorts. It's so versatile! The slightly longer cut through the back of this tee makes it especially fabulous for pairing with low rise jeans. I love that it covers my low back without being too long in the front. Not only does this shirt look and feel amazing, but it really and truly doesn't retain body odor. This is the first time I've owned a tee that didn't need to be washed after every single wearing.

      Nice, basic shirt

As always, icebreaker's wool performs well, stays fresh, wrinkle free and looks great. the green color is beautiful. The fit is definitely looser than many of their other shirts and a little longer. I'm 5'1" and wish this shirt were a little shorter. The v-neck isn't as low as many of their shirts, which is nice. The cut is more casual, less performance. This is a great travel shirt, I wore it all over China- went for a rock climbing trip and wore this on days off and evenings.

        Perfect fit!

I got the small (my usual size) and it fits perfectly. Fine in the arms and chest. Completely stink-free! Pretty incredible. I got them for my boyfriend as well and his don't smell either- even after a full day of hard hiking! Will definitely buy again.

          Good Coverage

This shirt is extremely comfortable and fits well with plenty of coverage - both the v-neck area as well as the length. I'm 5'11" and 155# and the large fits me perfectly. Everyone has been complimenting me about the color too (Mystic). It fit well under a heavy pack and no stink after two days!

            Good Coverage

            Flattering fit, functional

I first got this top in Jungle green in a size S (I wear M in long sleeve baselayers from Icebreaker, and read reviews saying their T's and tanks fit larger), and it fit, but I ended up returning it for a M because it was a bit too tight for me around the arms for backpacking/hiking (which is partly what I bought it for). So glad I did! The M is perfect, very flattering on my body (5'9", 130, 32C). I sometimes have problems with cap sleeves cutting into the backs of my arms, as I have muscular swimmer's shoulders, but the M is fitted and drapes well without doing that or being too tight. Have taken it backpacking and mountain climbing as well as worn casually-wonderful in all cases. No stink, comfortable, lookin' good! I am buying another in black! Would love more earthy color choices, though (like the green)...

              Fits really nicely

This is what the said about the Meridian T-shirt:"There’s probably not a lot I can say about this top that isn’t obvious (short sleeves, v-neck) but I will tell you my favorite feature is the shaped hem. It doesn’t fit loose and billowy like many t-shirts and though my big boobs don’t often appreciate a form-fitting top, this one fits really nicely without being too tight."

                Cute shirt for casual wear

I got the jungle in xs - I'm 5'4, 34D, 115 lb and the shirt fits pretty well, it's not tight, but it's form fitting and it's pretty long, hitting over my hips. The shirt looks a little more casual than I'd hoped, but it would still be dress-up able for a summer evening.

The material is soft, although shiny and I'm wearing a cami under it because it's a bit see-through. The vneck is a tiny bit low as well, without something under.

I wouldn't buy the shirt at full price, but for a sale, if you really want a merino wool shirt, it's a good one to get.

can't find the right size in icebreaker

I ordered medium based on reviews and the size chart but this cut was too loose I thought. I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs. I did like the color and the fabric felt nice but it just was too drapey and shapeless.

                    Icebreaker Meridian Shirt

I've been wanting this shirt for a couple seasons now and finally broke down and got it. I sized up in this shirt to a large (almost everything else from Icebreaker that I own is a medium). I wanted a looser fit and longer length. The large actually fits my shoulders better, too. I don't find the v-neckline to be overly deep or revealing. I'm very excited to have this shirt and am pretty sure it will be put to good use this summer (the raglan sleeves will make this super comfy hiking and backpacking!).

                      Very low-cut & runs small

This is a great color and great fabric. But it is small...and low-cut. I would normally take a small - but would have needed a medium for it not to be soooo form-fitting. And that would have required a shirt underneath due to the low-cut neckline.

                        Perfect v-neck t-shirt

I've been eyeing this shirt for a while, because I love the long sleeve version of it that I already own. I finally caved and bought it when it was on sale and am glad I did. It is a classic v-neck that will never go out of style and the best part is that since it is icebreaker, it will actually last for years to come as well. It does run a bit large, I bought it initially in a s and had to return it for an xs, which fits much better. I always buy icebreaker tanks in xs and am usually either a s or xs in their other tops, but there is no way the s would have fit in this style (I am 5'2" and 100lbs). Definitely glad I found this shirt on sale and finally bought it!

Not unless you plan on baring all

I have one of these tops from last season and it's quite nice. Icebreaker must have gone to a different Chinese factory for this one because the small was HUGE, allowing anyone and everyone to see down the front. That said, the Mystic color is lovely but this is going back.

                            Flattering and functional

I love this shirt! The cut is very flattering - a nice trim fit without being tight and it hits at the right spot. (I ordered a small and I am about 35 in the chest and 27 in the waist.) The jungle color is fantastic. I wore this shirt on a 9 mile hike in Franconia Notch last weekend. It's very soft and kept me feeling nice and dry. It was perfect while hiking but I did need a jacket on the summits and ridgeline as it was cloudy and a little breezy. I've washed it twice - no problems there. Machine wash cold and lay flat to dry. If you can get this on sale, go for it. It's a great shirt and a nice change from synthetic materials. I want more!

                              My favorite this summer

This is the most feminine tshirt in my closet, wide V-neck that shows collarbones perfectly! I like it to much to bring it on trails, but it's my new go-to shirts. I will bring it on every travel from now on due to the benefits of merino (no wrinkles, no smell, low packvolume, soft on sunburnt skin)
My measures are 96/80/108cm, both M and L fits well, but I went with M to show of curves, since it's not a slim fit. Doesn't mean it's like painted on! (feminine fit, as they write, nails it!)
Bought the black and the poppy one, poppy is a bit lighter and brighter than the picture shows - does something good to my tan -when I have one :o)

                                My favorite this summer
