Perfect for running in winter

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Used it pretty much all last winter on trails and on commute runs at night. Keeps you warm without scratching or anything. Sticks perfectly on my head, headlamp on top. Covers the ears maybe too much for my earbuds but that's Ok. Very cool colors, good fabric, love it.

Best Beanie Ever

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

A perfect combination of a very thin two layer, yet very warm beanie. Super comfy around the house, or under the helmet on single digit pow days. Long enough to cover the ears and interfaces great with a neck gaiter.

Great Beanie but not really reversible

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I got the black striped design of this beanie thinking I could swap between black and striped. The black side is definitely the inner side, it had a tag sewn in to it with the care instructions which when I remove I had to unpick the stitches which wasn't super clean and not the sem looks a little jacked. Other than that it fits under my ski helmet perfectly which is what I wanted from it.

Thanks for the review, Claire!

Perfect Fit

This is a great beanie for under your helmet or just out walking around.

Ski Helmet hat

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I wear this hat on super cold ( <10 degree) days under my helmet and it keeps my head nice and warm. It fits really well under my helmet (anon) and also looks good on it's own. I also really like that this hat folds down really small to be stashed in a pocket.

Perfect stuff-anywhere hat

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I bring this hat with me almost wherever I go, its a great little protective layer to bring with me to throw on after taking my helmet off, or if I'm walking around town and don't need my fleece lined hat. Also, I love icebreaker so much more than smart wool, better quality construction, design, and icebreaker rarely used polyester or acrylic! Edit: Liked it so much I bought another! (:

A nice lightweight hat.

This hat is nice for fall and spring. It fits well under my bike helmet, as for the ski helmet, I have not had the occasion to use it, and on 40-50 degree days it works nicely for walking the dog. Overall I am happy with this hat.

Thanks for the info on the temperature and activity you are doing during the 40-50 degree day!

Great for Running

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Compared to Fleece or other sports fabrics you don’t sweat in this hat- your head stays dry and comfortable. Keeps you warm when running in cooler weather. Fits perfectly.

Perfect for outdoor activities

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This beanie is great - lightweight, yet warm and reversible so you can introduce a bit of variety into your life. It easily fits into your jacket pocket if you don't want to wear it and layers nicely under a helmet too.

My go-to hat for fall-spring!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love this hat! It's perfect for my morning runs when it's cooler outside or on winter hikes and snowshoes. I like that it's reversible and I can switch up the colors! I've washed it a few times (especially when I use it for runs) and the color doesn't fade and the fit doesn't change!

This is a nice lightweight skull cap that can be worn under your helmet. I had been rocking an old wool beanie that did not fit right. This new piece of equipment is essential for a day at the Bird.

Nice Tight cap

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit:
True to size

If you are looking for something thin but still warm you found it. This cap is great for putting over a balaclava and layering under a ski helmet. I bought one in every color and will continue to do so as long as they pump them out.

I loved this during my trip to Steamboat last year. Was great under my helmet and the violet one added a bit of color to my otherwise black ensemble. It's small enough it can also be used under a biking helmet....

High-quality material, but I found the fit to be a bit strange for me, a little low in the back.

Hiker LOVE

I used this every night while hiking and backpacking on the Pacific Crest Trail. Wool is great because it doesn't retain odors. It keeps you warm when wet- also is breathable and keeps you cool when hot and sweating. It does smell like a wet dog though when you soak it-- but that dries out and is odorless again!! I love this beanie and will be bringing it again with me next summer for backpacking and hiking.

Warm little beanie - great under helmet.

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Fit:
True to size

Completely covers my ears for cold-weather riding and keeps my noggin warm w/o leaving seam lines on my face. Does a good job of transferring moisture away from my skin when I heat up on harder rides. Love the colors, too! I have exceedingly sensitive skin, though, so even this hat itches sometimes. Not enough to keep me from wearing it, though.

I use this beanie only on days when it is really cold and just my helmet wont cut it. Very nice and low-pro so that it still works with you normal helmet size.

What color is the inside/reverse of the isle/gulf? I see the deep royal blue of the outside, but there's no knowing what the reverse looks like. And it's not on the icebreaker website, either. Thanks!

It's a light blue. Looks like this:

What reverse colors goes with what main color? The reverse colors you show DO NOT correlate with any SPECIFIC main colors; it's completely random. Rocket, mermaid, teardrop, largo, blizzard, force; how is anyone supposed to know what colors are what unless you make it clear, assuming you want to sell them?

I've put in a request to have the photos labeled. In the meantime here is a link to all of the beanies and their proper names/colors. http://us.icebreaker.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-IB-US-Site/en/Search-Show?q=pocket

Force is a lighter blue. It is shown in the 3rd detail photo from the left. Hunter is the color shown when the variant is selected.

Hunter is a dark green.

What colour is Teardrop? Which colour is Walnut? Is the Black beanie Black on both sides? Are they all in stock? What does "From $17.49 mean? Waiting in the cold... Regards, Ben Rabone.

From $17.49 indicates that one variant is on sale, (Wisteria/Blizzard in this case). The Black has a grey color on the inside called Cargo, Teardrop is a light blue, and Walnut is brown. This is the inside of Sangria / Teardrop.

This the inside of the Black / Cargo

This is the inside of the Rocket / Walnut
