Flimsy and sad

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are comfortable the first time. But after one use and washing ... the inner and outer layers are folding in on themselves. They look worn down after ONE LOUSY USE!!! I love Icebreaker and Darn Tough, and by and large both companies make lots of fantastic socks. THESE ARE NOT FANTASTIC. With all the sock choices out there, don't bother with these.

Extemly disappointed

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

The product details on Backcountry.com says 61% Merino wool. The icebreaker website lists the same product as 52% Merino wool. Worse yet, the product arrived and the packing says 46% Merino wool. Shame on this site for the mis-information...61% is precisely why I ordered them...46% is precisely why your getting these rags back. What a waste of time.

They are a awesome sock, just like the rest! They do their job, stays on the foot without slipping off. Warm wool and still practical. Love the socks!

These socks are very comfortable and cool. They keep my feet temperature regulated in the hot desert Summer here in Utah. I wear a size 11 and a L is perfect. I would definitely recommend them!

Socks are pretty important, especially when running! I prefer merino or merino blends for socks. There are light and breathable with my sweaty feet. They are my 2nd pair of Icebreaker socks so they are obviously doing something right- plus they are guaranteed for life!

Love all of my icebreaker socks!

I am a huge fan of icebreaker. Added these to my collection to wear while doing radical things like Crossfit and spear hunting! The durability and guarantee on these socks can't be beat!!

Not durable, very disappointed

I had read some great reviews of Icebreaker socks -although it was other styles. I bought two pairs of these and after a few months of random use (maybe 5-6 wearings?) they were totally worn out through the heals. I have a similar style/weight sock Smartwool I have used in similar conditions that are over over a year old and still in great shape. Very disappointed in these.

Nice socks

These are good socks, fit well, and are comfortable. May not be for extreme heat, as they had a little bit of excess moisture on longer runs.

What I expect out of a ultralite mini sock. Nice and thin, no odor, no rubbing. Have had them for a few months and haven't had any issues with durability.

OK Socks

Familiarity:

Runs small

These socks wick moisture great, but they seem to be coming apart easily after about 10 uses. I bought 5 pair and it seems to be happening to half of them. Also the elastic at the top of the sock is too tight. Usually Icebreaker products are more durable.

New favorite sock

Familiarity:

There are only so many things that you can say about a running sock, but this sock is the best i have tried yet. Definitely wicks moisture super well, fits me just right, is light and breathable, and does not smell terrible after a couple hours of trail running (does not smell great either. Merino wool can only do so much, but definitely an improvement over any material I have ever used). Definitely my new favorite sock. The durability remains to be tested. If this sock can last me until next winter, then I will dub it a very durable sock.

Good quality but.

Liked the quality and size of the socks. But the top elastic, to me, is too strong. Hopefully, after some use hopefully the elastic will relent.

Versatile

These ultra-light socks don't feel like anything on your feet, but at the same time the Merino wool can keep your feet comfortable when the temperature drops into the 50s. They do a great job of wicking sweat and block odor for days.
