I cannot wear socks with cushioning, which makes finding socks extremely hard. I've gone through loads of Darn Tough and Smart Wool socks, which work temporarily, but always get stiff and uncomfortable after washing enough times. These were a great find for me because they stay comfortable after washing, they don't shrink or start to fall into your shoe, and they are lightweight. I've used them for trail running, cycling, and lifting weights and not had problems in any of those shoes. I highly recommend them if you like or need ultra-light socks.

I've Reached The Age Where I Review Sock

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Probs the best socks I've ever spent money on (I may have permanently borrowed some of my friends' socks that I loved but that's besides the point). They're good quality, no pilling, no shrinking, no seams that rub. They come up high enough that I can wear them w/ low hiking boots (the socks show a bit) AND casual booties (the socks don't show). They wick well and my feet are never overheated. I'm a fan! Also, I ran out of space in the title. SOCKS.

Great socks

I love these socks. They're great, simple sock - no stupid, somehow-both-for-old-women-and-children patterns, with a good quality yarn and construction. I wish the branding wasn't on the cuff, but that doesn't affect their function, but only how I use them; it only means I wear them with taller ankle boots or to run/hike in only.

Happy Feet

I love these socks for running and hiking. They stay in place, breath great, and stay put. I never have hot spots from seams, and really appreciate the amount of coverage they provide- just right. They wash well and have held up after 75+ miles of use I typically wear a 7.5 and the mediums fit wonderfully!

Put them on and Go! Forget they are on. I've washed these several times and put them in the dryer- I have not seen an issue they still feel and work great!

I purchased these for a more breathable sock during hikes around Utah. These are very light weight socks and are very comfortable. I have had these for about 3 months and have already wore a hole in the heel. I'm a little disappointed these haven't lasted longer but overall a great purchase.

Great socks

Merino wool is a superb material for socks because of the moisture-wicking and antibacterial properties. These are comfortable all day and won't stink, even after several uses.

These socks are great! I wore these on my first hiking trip to Utah, and we did a total of 80 miles, and that wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for these socks! They are light and comfortable, and I was concerned about getting blisters on my feet, but ended up with NONE! I highly recommend wool socks for hiking because of the breathability, moisture wicking, and odor-resistant properties! I will definitely purchase more in the future to take with me on more adventures. I wear a size 7.5 and purchased these in a Medium, and fits perfect!

Best after washing twice

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love these socks now, but the first time I wore them on a run (without washing and drying a few times), they were slightly too big and gave me hot spots! After a few washings, they fit great and have the perfect rise on the ankle for my running shoes.

I'm typically a Darn Tough fan, but decided to give these a go. I typically use these for running, and they're great! The merino wool blend is forgiving against my foot, wicks away moisture, and dries quickly - which makes my feet real happy! Also, I much appreciate the Left and Right sock denominations - which means I don't get them mixed up with my husbands!

Although these socks are more than what I would usually spend on a single pair of socks, they quickly became one of my favorite pairs I own, especially for mild temperatures. I plan to purchase another pair in a different color. I wear a US size 7 shoe and I have a narrow foot. I got a size small and it fits a wee bit large in the toe area. Other than that it fits my foot very well. The tab on the heel is a bit long as well, but it serves its purpose excellently and the sock does not slide around. *Update!* I was very happy to find that after a few washes, my Icebreaker socks fit like a glove! While visiting Colorado, I took these for a spin on some snowshoe trails in Breckenridge. I layered these under a pair of thick wool socks and my toes would not have even known they were in chilly powder all day! They did not shift and were so comfortable that they were unnoticeable all day long. I also wore them as a single layer on the disc golf course in Conifer, CO. The course had a lot of elevation changes and some snow patches, and even after walking up and down steep hills, they stayed put and kept my feet warm in the 45 degree afternoon weather! I am falling in love with these socks, and I am so excited that I will be able to use them year-round in all temperatures and conditions!
