BodyFit 260 Tech Crew
Merino wool always feels luxuriously soft and cozy, but put it right next to skin for the ultimate merino experience with the Icebreaker Women's BodyFit260 Tech Crew. This baselayer is the first thing that goes on before any cold-weather sport, whether it's skiing, ice climbing, or running in the park. Merino wool naturally regulates body temperature with its breathability and insulation. It's also naturally odor-resistant and antimicrobial for enduring freshness during high-output sports. This top has offset shoulder seams and forward side seams to prevent chafing under a pack or other gear. An elliptical hem adds coverage in back when mobile.
- A technical baselayer for skiing and winter hiking
- Merino wool is warm yet super breathable
- Slim fit is great for layering
- Offset shoulder seams prevent irritation while wearing a pack

A Solid Staple
I bought these for a friend who had the following to share: "If you haven’t been converted to Icebreaker base layers, well, start here and look no further. I have become a merino wool snob and I am a huge fan of Icebreaker. This shirt is comfortable, super soft and fits snugly against your body. And yes, let’s address the wool elephant in the room: this is not itchy at all. The merino wool Icebreaker uses really is some sort of wonder fabric; it keeps you warm, comfortable, and breathes well. My only complaint is that I don’t have six of these ready to wear at all times in every color. If you don’t have one, it is time."

Fits true to size and has nice long sleeves. Fit is great and seems like a good option for a warmer base layer or something you can hike in chilly weather with. I returned because I didn't like the Nautical color - was too bright for my taste.

I like that this is wool but not scratchy at all. highly recommend. I got a medium but I prefer a looser fit with tops and coats so although I'm technically a small, I still get mediums.

great fit, super comfort
This is not just for winter... i love wearing it as a layer over a tank top on summer hikes - it feels so fabulous on, breathable, light yet warm, and of courseâ¦it just doesn't get smelly like synthetics⦠love it! True to size. Here i am wearing it over a tank top up on Point 13,230 above Telluride, CO

This is a mighty fine baselayer- but just as a heads up, the 260g does work on the insulation front. This thing is TOASTY warm. I've used this out on a couple of fall hikes as a replacement for a jacket, and it does good. I am generally a very warm person and do not like too many baselayers skiing, but I am happy to have this one in the stash for the super cold days. In regards to sizing, I find it true to size. I am 5'2, 120lbs and I wear the Small. It gives enough room to have a tank on underneath without restricting movement. I'm sure that I could do the XS if I wanted a super tight fit, but I like it as is. It has a nice feminine cut- so it keeps you warm and helps make you look good while doing it. Fashion and Function!

This is a great compliment to anyone's layering system. The Merino wool is soft and supple against the skin, and really helps to regulate your body temp. Not too hot not too cold. The cut of this piece is slimming and extenuates your best features. Not only will it keep you comfy, it will look good while doing it. The product is a touch generous on the sizing, however i would not size down, it was the right amount of cozy for me.

I have owned quite a few baselayers in my day (Patagonia, Burton, Airblaster, Smartwool, and older Icebreaker) and I think this is my favorite. Icebreaker changed their fit this year so everything fits longer and slightly looser. I am 5'9" 155 lbs and usually between a Large and a Medium and I initially got the size Large. It fits great (slightly loose but flattering). I also purchased the Medium for a more technical fit on those days when I am layering more. The Merino wool is super soft and best of all it really does not smell after wearing it for a full day. If you have had Icebreaker before and the fit was not quite right I definitely suggest trying the new models as the fits are significantly improved!

Had to get my 3rd one
These are awesome for layering They wash up beautifully and can also be worn as a shirt alone. They are that classy. Will buy more and also are very warm but not hot. They regulate body heat very well

Great fit, nice and warm
Bought this shirt in "Isle" for a shark diving trip out to the Farallon Islands where I knew it could be windy, foggy and cold. It fit really well. Contoured but not super tight, and very soft and comfortable. I tend to get really cold and was able to wear this under a windbreaker for most of the trip. The Isle color is beautiful!

Great quality top!
I love Icebreaker tops. I have few of them in different colors and thickness. Body fit 260 is tight to body as the name says, so it does work remarkable as a base layer but as a stand alone top, will show the love handles, if you have any ;-) Great product, wonderful quality after many washes, and wicks moisture perfectly and keep you dry and cozy.

I got this shirt in Dark Dusk color from my Boyfriend. Besides the great fit I didn't really think too much of it until it got tested in the feild. Let me tell you, this is a great baselayer when it's chili! It's not synthetic like many other tops and you can really tell the difference. Now this top is my first choice for backpacking, hiking, running, skiing, etc.

Soft but not so warm
I am really happy with the fit and feel of this shirt. I am tall (6'1") and was pleased to find out that the XL fit me in both body length and arm length (which is hard to find with performance tops!). After reading rave reviews about the warmth of this shirt I was really looking forward to having it for the ski season, unfortunately I find myself still packing on the extra layers even with this top. It's definitely not worth the shelf price.

I bought 2 of these shirts on SAC, and have fallen in love. They keep you warm, fit exquisitely, and fight off smell, even after a hard day. They're soft, and I really appreciate active clothing that fits me like a woman instead of a guy's size small. Also, the length is perfect in back, especially for my long torso. For your own sizing needs, I'm 5'11", mid-size B cup, 135 lbs. and I usually wear a medium, and a medium Icebreaker fit perfectly.

I've tried wool before and couldn't wear it next to my skin or even over a light under layer. Icebreaker clothing is totally different. The fit and the feel is great. It doesn't itch, it doesn't smell and it keeps me both warm and cool. I wore these in Vietnam in both heat and chill and they worked well in either condition. The 260 is a nice weight. Small fits me well at 5'6", 110 lbs. but its not overly tight so could fit someone who weighs more. I have average to long arms and the sleeves are perfect.

This shirt is a little longer and slimmer than their other, lighter weight shirts. Despite this, it's a great shirt. Very warm, pretty heavy duty. And it doesn't stink. What more could you want?

nice top, overpriced
I had been eying an icebreaker top for a long time since I have heard so many wonderful things about them. I think its more hype and name that you pay for that a quality product. I do love the top. Its the perfect thickness and warmth. The cut is perfect for me, its a feminine fit without being overly fitted. Would pay sale price again, but not worth list.
