Warm and nice fitting Balaclava

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just received and tried it; feels great, as expected from this company. Will review it further after my trip to Quebec in few weeks. Only fours stars rating now because I have not tried it outdoors.

Great face protection

I bought this balaclava for a crossing of the Greenland Ice cap earlier this year. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I wore it almost every day either for protection from the cold and on the warmer days to stop the extreme polar radiation from burning my face. I realized after a while that it was easier to wear it all the time rather than to constantly reapply sun screen. It thawed quickly in the mornings as it is not so thick that it holds a lot of moisture. It held its shape very well and did not get all stretched out like that happens to a lot of woolen items

Great weight, great protection

This balaclava is awesome. It's a great weight to just keep the wind off your face without it collecting endless breath condensation. It dries really fast, never smells, and helps protect my forehead (at the helmet goggle seam), and my face, which always gets cold in the wind. Also, you can't see in the pic, but there is a hole by your mouth. I havent found it to be helpful, nor get in the way.

Must have for cold days

A balaclava is a must have for cold days. This one Is especially good because the wool is so thin, not bulky, and doesn't get in the way. There is also an opening in the mouth area that is overlapped by two layers of wool. It allows you to breathe better so you don't feel smothered and keeps the material from getting wet from moisture where you breathe.
