Great for Skiing and Snowboarding!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 6'0"
  • Weight: 175lbs

These are a very high quality merino legging. I use them mainly for snowboarding but they are great for any outdoor activity where you need some extra warmth. I love the perforated panels behind the knees and right below the waistline in the back - they help dump heat quickly to keep you dry and comfortable.
The shorter legs on this model are designed to keep your leggings above your ski or snowboard boots so they aren't inside your boot or bunched up above your boot..

Very comfortable and warm!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL
  • Height: 6'0"
  • Weight: 175lbs

I wear a size 32 and the XL fits me perfectly. I have used them so far on some fall trail runs, hikes, and camping. They have kept me warm camping on some very chilly nights. I am excited to use them this winter for snowboarding and snowshoeing.

Ski touring

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 5'10"
  • Weight: 150lbs

If you ski tour and you do not have these paired with a nice pair of softshell pants... youre doing it wrong!

Seriously, these were a game changer for last season. True to size, I have a 30 inch waist and got the mediums

Best performance baselayer I have used

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small
  • Height: 6'0"
  • Weight: 150lbs

Snug enough for high output activity, but still comfortable to sleep in. I love this baselayer. I use them for backcountry skiing and mountaineering. I haven't tried much long underwear, but these are single best performing pair I have ever used. The warmth to weight ratio can hardly be bested as well.

Anecdote: I was around 13,000 ft in steady 50+ mph winds, temperature around 10-20 F with lots of biting spindrift. The wind was so strong and visibility so reduced that I had to stop skinning up, but my legs stayed warm with just these and my cirque softshell pants. My hands, however, were a different story.

However, for cold resort days, I prefer a warmer, thicker baselayer.
